The 2025 I'm A Celebrity Winner has been crowned.

Following a few nail-biting weeks of tucker trials and creepy, crawly challenges, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has come to an end.

NRL legend Sam Thaiday, reality TV star Matty J and Big Brother icon Reggie Bird were all in the running to take out the competition — and now, following tonight's finale, we finally have a winner.

Sam Thaiday has been crowned King of the Jungle, in a nail-biting finale that saw the contestants reunite with their families for hugs, tears and one final challenge — Hot Tub Slime.

Because who doesn't love one last chance to pour fish guts, rotten eggs, and other assorted gross stuff over famous people?

But back to the royal announcement!

As with all I'm A Celebrity victories, Channel 10 will now be donating $100,000 to Sam's chosen charity: Find Ya Feet. The non-profit organisation encourages people to "be better" and gives fellas a platform to tell their stories and listen to others.

It's been a whirlwind journey since we first joined Julia Morris and Robert Irwin for I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia 2025.

The first episode kicked off on Sunday, January 19, with stars including Tina Provis and Shayna Jack appearing on the series.

From The Bachelor Australia alum Matty J, to 'reality TV royalty' Reggie Bird, here's the full list of contestants who went into the jungle for I'm A Celeb this year.

Who are the I'm A Celebrity Australia 2025 contestants?

The first celebrity confirmed to brave the jungle for the 2025 season of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia was Matty Johnson.

After being the runner-up on Georgia Love's season of The Bachelorette, Johnson appeared on The Bachelor Australia in 2017 where he met his now wife, radio host and jewellery designer Laura Byrne, and the couple share two daughters.

Since his Bachelor days, Johnson has worked in television in both presenter and contestant capacities and co-hosts the podcast Two Doting Dads.

"When I'm an old man I hope to be at family gatherings with the grandkids begging for another story of how I was able to survive in the African Jungle for months by fighting off wild baboons and eating boar anus," Johnson said of his decision to go into the jungle.

Next on the list was former Big Brother star Reggie Sorensen (also known as Reggie Bird).

"I've got no idea what they're gonna do. I'm just gonna give it my all, like everyone else does. I've got no peripheral vision or night vision, so it might be a bit of an advantage for me. I will not been able to see sh*t," she told Mamamia just before going into the South African jungle.

"I'm a massive fan of the show. I've always wanted to go on the show, even though I'm sh*t-scared of everything. I'm petrified of spiders, snakes, bugs, the lot, and I've got a weak stomach," she said.

"I don't know how I'm gonna go, but it's gonna be fun viewing, that's for sure."

Joining the Broncos in 2003 and retiring at the end of the 2018 season, Sam became a member of an elite group having played over 300 games for the one club. During his time with the Broncos, he was awarded the Captaincy in 2011 and went on to win the Dally M Award for Best Second Row player.

For his part, Hughesy is known for his comedic roles across stand-up, radio, podcasts, books, and TV. He's also a well-known vegan, so we'll have to see how he holds up in some of the challenges.

"Why am I going into the jungle? That's what my wife keeps asking," he joked in the first episode. "It's not to get away from her and the kids. Love you."

As the episode raged on with gravity-defying challenges and plenty of cringe moments for the celebs, we met the rest of the fun-loving cast.

Where is I'm A Celebrity Australia filmed?

While there have been rumours the series is actually filmed in the Blue Mountains, the show does indeed take place in the South African jungle. To be exact, the series is filmed in Kruger National Park in South Africa.

"Can you imagine how much easier my life would be if we were in the Blue Mountains?" Julia Morris joked on The Kyle and Jackie O Show in 2019.

But in 2021 and 2022, the show was filmed in Australia due to the pandemic travel restrictions. The network settled on Murwillumbah in New South Wales at the time. But in 2023, we returned to the jungle and order was restored!

Is I'm A Celebrity Australia real or fake?

One of the biggest questions to arise each season, is whether or not the living conditions and challenges are real or fake. Are they really sleeping on those terrible beds? Are they really completing those terrifying challenges? The answer, is yes.

2023 contestant Woody Whitelaw admitted he was surprised by just how 'real' the setting was.

"I was under the impression that the jungle would be a fenced off area, and the animals that came in and out would be controlled," he told his radio co-host, Will McMahon.

"But the head of security, Steve, told me that outside of the campsite is actually surrounded by guys in camo. They are effectively standing there and they're going to let people know if there is a lion or a water buffalo or anything going into the campsite and then they can effectively get the animal to go away."

"You are in a wild environment and animals will walk through there," he continued.

As for the food struggles, those are also very real. However, the production company does have medics on standby to support the stars.

"They're very hungry, really hungry. They're very hungry at the moment, they haven't done quite so well at the trials lately," a medic on the UK version of the show previously told The Mirror.

"If you could see how much rice and beans they get per person, per day, I think you'd be quite shocked. The little bit of rice is quite tiny and the little bit of beans is quite tiny."
