You’ve got the career, the friends and you’re managing to pay your rent on time. But something’s missing and it’s not a pair of Manolo’s, so whatever could it be, you’re thinking?
Well, according to new scientific evidence released by the University of Utah, if you’re between the ages of 28 and 32, it’s marriage.
Conducted by Dr Nick Wolfinger, the findings of the study show that those married within the specific window of years are less likely to get divorced in the first five years and later down the track than those married at ages before or after the four years.
Data, which was collected from the 2006 – 2010 and 2011 – 2013 United States’ National Survey of Family Growth, explained that while the odds of divorce decline from your teen years up to your early 30s, they make a steep incline once you move into your late 30s and early 40s.
