In case you were wondering, Hugh Jackman is still being weird on Instagram.

It's been a rather chaotic couple of months for Hugh Jackman.

The Australian actor has been in the tabloids for finally confirming his rumoured romance with his Broadway co-star, Sutton Foster. The couple were photographed holding hands and kissing so it's safe to say they're an item.

Their hard-launch followed the demise of both of their marriages: Hugh and Deborra-Lee Furness announced their divorce in September 2023 which came a year before Sutton filed for divorce from screenwriter Ted Griffin in October 2024.

Also in 2024, he starred in the biggest movie in the world. Teaming up with his bestie, Ryan Reynolds, the duo's movie Deadpool & Wolverine has made $550 million (roughly $842 million in AUD) at the worldwide box office.

Jackman and Reynolds have also been popping up all over the place doing all sorts of interviews, from flirting on Chicken Shop Date to having puppy playdates.

It's been a huge year for ol' Hughie J.

But amid all the press, one thing has remained the same: Hugh Jackman is still slightly unhinged on his personal Instagram.

Just as the papped photos of himself and Sutton were circulated, he decided to share this photo with his followers.

In typical vague fashion, it was captioned 'Sunday morning.' Okay then!

Hugh spent Christmas back in Australia and in December, he shared a photo in a pool that I gotta say… is a bit too close for comfort. Jump scare!

Last year, Jackman simply posted a video of himself staring at his phone and laughing (or crying??), which he unhelpfully captioned #deadpoolandwolverine.

Hugh Jackman's weirdness has not gone unnoticed online with one user on X pointing out how 'wacky' the action star actually is in comparison to his costar, Ryan Reynolds.

All the attention had been on Hugh becoming single, exiting his 27-year marriage from Deborra-Lee Furness in a celebrity split that shocked the world. The two had always been considered one of Hollywood's strongest couples.

And now, I've got to say that I've noticed something a bit odd.

Something I never noticed before.

Hugh Jackman's Instagram activity is deeply random. In fact, it's become a place of true bemusement for me. I stop by his page almost every day, desperate for the hit of serotonin that his rogue exploits deliver.

Thankfully for me, the man is posting A LOT, sharing a photo every few days.

'A lot of what, though?', one might wonder. Well... a lot of photos that scream 'recently divorced man who doesn't know what he's doing'.

For instance, the actor shared an image of himself smiling that confused his followers, with one person commenting, "Are you okay?"

Another wrote, "I don't know why even though you smile, I see your eyes sad!"

I don't know if I see his 'eyes sad' but is this the internet version of telling someone 'you look tired'? Anyways, the photo was captioned 'Hi.' Alrighty then!

But this is nothing new.

Another of Jackman's posts was simply captioned "Monday", and honestly the actor seems unsure what to do with his face, contorting it into a shape I imagine is ideal for making owl sounds.

In February, he simply wrote "Morning" below an image presumably taken in the morning. Thanks for the update, Jacko!

That same month, the Wolverine actor got experimental by recruiting someone else to capture him scrolling on his phone. He's a busy man, he's got more Instagram selfies standing near nameless bodies of water to post.

"Going to need all the stuff and lighting magic today!!!" he told his 31 million followers.
