The Mamamia team styled the same $15 thrifted shirt. Here's how they wore it.

The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants is one of my all-time favourite movies, so when the ladies in the Mamamia office decided to start their own tradition inspired by the film, I was intrigued.

Enter the $15 thrifted shirt. This printed button-up just sort of... appeared out of nowhere in the office one day, and while we searched high and low for an owner, nobody came forward to claim the item — so it quickly became the centrepiece of a new fashion challenge.

It will come as no surprise that the Mamamia team is full of style icons. Everyone here has a unique sense of fashion, so I was excited to see how four women on the team, who all have such different personal styles, would make the shirt work.

Annaliese, Sharn, Courtney and Tahli were challenged to incorporate the shirt — which, I might add, was not something any of them would usually wear — seamlessly into their regular wardrobes. Although I was initially sceptical, I can proudly say that each of them absolutely nailed it.

The $15 top is now lovingly referred to as the "Sisterhood of the Op-Shop Shirt". So, without further ado, let's take a look at how each of these ladies styled the quirky piece.

"I'm [wearing] Vans, which I've paired with a crew sock — thank you to the youth. These pants are a hand-me-down from Leigh Campbell. This black top is an H&M basic that is actually my son's, but I'm going to steal it because I think it looks quite good. And I've obviously got the 'Travelling Sisterhood of the Op-Shop Shirt' to top it all off.'"

"I chose to roll up the sleeves and tie the shirt in the centre. I paired it with my leather skirt, my beautiful boots and some sheer black tights. I actually love it! It's so comfy and I think it looks kind of cute."

"I saw a couple of the looks the other girls put together with the shirt that really leaned into dark colours, so I wanted to do the opposite. I just reached for everything cream in my wardrobe! Everything I'm wearing is also thrifted."

"I asked myself, 'What colour would contrast well with the poo colours and the pink on this shirt?' So I settled on a khaki green maxi skirt, and put on a pair of 'wrong shoes' because the 'wrong shoe theory' is always right. I think my cowgirl boots work well with the outfit!"

So there you have it: One shirt. Four women. Four completely different looks. Nailed it!
