And low and behold, Gomez was spotted debuting a peach manicure at the Oscars to match the lining of her custom Ralph Lauren dress.

But it wasn't just a flat, stark peach mani — it was a chic, sophisticated 'peach champagne' look, blending soft peach, pink and gold for a delicate, luminous finish.

How do you achieve peach champagne nails?

As with any manicure, the key to a flawless finish is proper prep. Whether you're visiting a nail artist or doing it yourself at home, start by thoroughly cleaning your nails, trimming the cuticles and filing them into shape. While this look works with any nail shape, we have to admit almond nails make this look a solid 11 out of 10. 

Once the nails are prepped, a high-quality base coat is applied first, followed by a warm peachy-pink polish to create the perfect foundation. Depending on your opacity preference, a second coat can be added before layering on a sheer polish with a subtle golden shimmer to give it that champagne glow. To finish, a high-shine top coat is applied to seal the look, followed by cuticle oil and a hydrating hand cream for that salon-perfect touch.
