Fact: Putting on your favourite fragrance in the morning only for it to completely disappear by lunch is annoying.
I investigated whether there was a solution to this common beauty problem (you guys, this is a genuine beauty conundrum) and found that there is a solution.
Vaseline.
Yes. Rubbing a small amount of Vaseline onto your pulse points before spraying your perfume is the key to making the scent last longer. It sounds crazy, I know, but after trying it, I can never go back. Because it works. Take a look. (Post continues after video.)
1. Rub vaseline onto pulse points.
Lightly rub a small amount of Vaseline onto your wrists. Spread it evenly and thinly. The oils in Vaseline will help to hold the fragrance to your skin longer than if you were to spray it onto dry skin – think of it as primer for your perfume.
2. Spray perfume onto your pulse points.
Target pulse points (wrists, neck) and warm areas on your body when spraying perfume. The heat from these areas will help to intensify the fragrance. (Post continues after gallery.)

3. Leave it to dry.
Rubbing the scent between your wrists will bruise it, meaning it will break down the molecules of your fragrance. Instead, spray your perfume and leave it to dry.
Another great tip to make your fragrance last the distance?
Keep it away from heat, light and humidity and store it in a cool, dry place so it’s protected against the elements.
