Important announcement: You can now binge-watch your favourite Netflix shows offline.

At the risk of further enabling struggling television addicts the world over, Netflix has done something huge.

The online streaming platform has heard the call of its subscribers and is now allowing users to download their favourite original shows so they can binge-watch even when they fall into a wi-fi black hole.

“While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where Internet is expensive or limited,” the company’s Director of Product Innovation Eddy Wu announced.

All you have to do is click the download button on the details page for a film or TV series and you can watch it later sand Internet connection. Yes, IT’S THAT SIMPLE.

So many popular shows and movies are already available for download, including Orange is The New Black and The Crown, with even more on the way.

While the new feature is only available for phones and tablets on Android and iOS — not laptops and desktops — it's free for anyone with a Netflix plan.

The move comes following the release of a new app, PlayOn Cloud, that let's TV nerds download anything from any streaming service (not just Netflix) and keep it for 30 days.
