For many new mothers, success or difficulty with breastfeeding is an emotive subject.
Supermodel and mother of three, Ashley Graham, shared this week how she felt judged when she stopped breastfeeding her twins Malachi and Roman at five months old.
Talking to Chelsea Handler on The Daily Show, Graham reflects that despite the opinions of others, it was the right decision to switch to formula.
"There's this whole thing with people telling you how to feed your child. With my first kid, I was like, 'I could only breastfeed. This is the right way,'" Graham, who is also mum to three-year-old Isaac, told Handler.
"Then I had the twins, and I was like, 'I'm not doing this'. This is not working here. Both of you want both of [my breasts]. This is a lot of work."
Graham joked to Handler that feeding her twins, now aged 13 months, was like "feeding a nation" but that ultimately she believes in not judging anyone on how they choose to feed their children.
"These little guys are so strong and so happy, so I don't think we should be telling people how they should be feeding their kids," Graham added.
