1. “Disgusting!” Hilary Duff just told off a pap for taking photos of her children.

Hilary Duff has shared a video to Instagram where she can be heard calling out a photographer for taking photos of her seven-year-old son and his friends at their soccer game.

In the clip, Duff approaches the man and asks him if he knew anyone playing in the game. He didn’t.

“Well, can you stop taking pictures of the kids, please?” she asked him.

The pair had a heated interaction wherein the photographer claimed he was simply practising his photography and said it was only creepy because she was “making it creepy”.

“Okay, then I will just post this to my 15 million followers on Instagram and let people know how creepy it is,” the 32-year-old replied.

Followers were quick to call out the photographer’s behaviour, with one user writing, “I like the part where he tries to blame it on your “paranoia” when he is literally standing there with a camera taking pictures of 7 year old kids.”

Actress Busy Phillips also showed her support for Duff in the comments, saying, “THIS IS INFURIATING. This isn’t about his job or his “rights”. This is about his OWN perceived POWER over others. I imagine it’s the only time this pathetic person feels any power in his life…”

Twilight actress Nikki Reed also commented, writing: “This is beyond unacceptable and I stand behind you with an army of Mothers who applaud you for refusing to back down in an instance where yet again, a paparazzi is stating his right to photograph minors. This video should ignite a huge conversation around paparazzi laws and what is deemed “ok”.

“The system chooses to overlook certain aspects of privacy for monetary gain. The bottom line is this industry should not be allowed to make money off of children. Period end of story. Not only is that morally wrong, but more importantly, in the process of making money off of little kid’s private moments, these children grow up feeling unsafe.

“Having strange men lurking around corners, hiding behind cars and trees and showing up at your football practice or waiting outside your home when you are too young to process what is happening has psychological ramifications and should be without a doubt illegal.

“Also, for anyone on here that wants to lean on the excuse that she is famous and shouldn’t have children if she doesn’t want them photographed can a) think about the ridiculousness of that statement and b) think about all of the other children who are also at this game, with a strange man photographing them as well without their parent’s consent. I’m not one to jump in unless I feel real change needs to happen, so mamas let’s get loud, get laws changed, and protect our babies.”

2. “I feel so lucky.” Benji Madden wrote the most adorable message for wife Cameron Diaz and daughter Raddix.

In his first Instagram post since the birth of his daughter Raddix in January, Benji Madden has expressed his gratitude for his new family.

“Everyday, I feel so lucky,” he wrote alongside a simple picture of painted roses.

“My wife and daughter fill me up with so much gratitude… Just wanted to say it out loud!!!”

Madden and his wife, Cameron Diaz announced the birth of their daughter in early January, letting followers know they “feel a strong instinct to protect [their] little one’s privacy”, and would not be sharing any pictures – adding that “she is really really cute!”

“She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family.”

Congrats to the happy family!

3. The FRIENDS cast’s reported salaries for their reunion special has been released and woah.

This is not a drill. After a long 15-year wait and a lot of false reunion rumours, our six favourite Friends are finally returning to our screens. And we couldn’t be more excited.

Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow have all confirmed their involvement and are set to return for an unscripted special with HBO Max.

While the reunion is a long-awaited dream for any die-hard Friends fan, it does bring up a very important question… why now?

Well, it could have to do with the eye-watering amount of money each cast member will reportedly be paid.

Sources supposedly told Variety that each of the actors will receive at least US$2.5 million for participating in the reunion special.

Yep, it’s a lot.

And that’s on top of the $20 million each cast member supposedly makes a year in royalties from the show, according to USA Today.

The special is set to exclusively air on HBO Max in May when the streaming service launches, reports Variety.

4. Congratulations! Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick have welcomed their first child.

Critically-acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino and his wife Daniella Tarantino (nee Pick) have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.

"Daniella and Quentin Tarantino are happy to announce the birth of their first child," a representative for the couple said in a statement.

According to The Jerusalem Post, the child of the Oscar-winning director and the Israeli singer was born in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The couple announced Daniella's pregnancy last year, telling People in a statement: "Daniella and Quentin Tarantino are very delighted to announce that they are expecting a baby."

The couple became engaged in June 2017 and got married in November 2018. This is the 56-year-old's first child. There are no photos of their baby boy as of yet.

5. In 2002, Amanda Bynes was the world's biggest child star. By 2012, it all came crashing down.

In 2002, Amanda Bynes was on top of the world.

The then 16-year-old, who made her start on Nickelodeon before she had even hit high school, was the world’s most adored child star.

From feature films to a handful of shows on Nickelodeon, Bynes essentially dominated the screens of teenagers around the world.

After rising to prominence on Nickelodeon show, All That, Bynes began starring in her very own sketch comedy show, The Amanda Show.

Before long, the show became the most successful on the network, leading Bynes to win the Favourite Television Actress award at the Kids’ Choice Awards four years in a row. At the time, Bynes was also embarking on her third television series, WB’s What I Like About You.

In the eyes of the media and her close supporters, Bynes could do no wrong.

In fact, in 2002, The New York Times labelled Bynes a new kind of child star.

“Ms. Bynes is like Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett and Gilda Radner rolled into one 16-year-old package,” the publication reported.

“Many a True Hollywood Story has been told about show-business kids going bad. But Ms. Bynes seems remarkably self-possessed and far more sedate than the highly caffeinated characters she plays on television.”
