Harvey Kinkle stole our magical, teenage hearts in the 90s sitcom, Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Remember when he looked like this adorable human being:
Bless his soul.
And now, 18 years after the show first premiered (yes, 18 years), the actor who played Harvey, Nate Richert, is looking very different.
His head of brown locks is gone with a much stronger beard game.
Talking to news.com.au, the 38-year-old says he can still be recognised as Harvey, despite his radical change.
“It blows my mind,” he says, “but I do still get recognised from Sabrina; probably a couple times a week.”
He still reflects incredibly positively on his experience on the TV show, and says he definitely misses the show.
“It was surreal, to say the least, and very, very fun. I was allowed to share a set with so many actors I looked up to for so many years — and always under such bizarre circumstances, due to the whole ‘witch thing.'”
Despite his incredible success on the show, Richert admits his acting career didn’t take off after Sabrina ended.
“I think the roles faded out for me because people identified my face so strongly with the character that I didn’t stand a chance at being seen another way. I heard, ‘We can’t have Harvey from Sabrina’ pretty frequently in auditions.”
Richert has taken a step away from acting, pursuing his deep love of music that helps him through his daily battle with anxiety.
“Writing and recording music is something I do for myself out of compulsion. Playing live is something I do to battle stage fright and social anxiety. I figure it’s all cheaper than therapy.”
