Happy Gilmore 2 is officially on the way and from what we can see so far, fans of the original 1996 hit are in for a real treat. With Adam Sandler back in action as our favourite hot-tempered golfer, this sequel is bringing the laughs back to the big screen with a highly anticipated sequel. When and where to watch Happy Gilmore 2.

Although there is no official release date just yet, we do know that Happy Gilmore 2 is set to premiere sometime in 2025. To make things even easier for you, the much-awaited sequel will be coming straight to your television via Netflix. 

Who is in the Happy Gilmore 2 cast? 

It wouldn't be Happy Gilmore without Happy Gilmore. So rest assured that Adam Sandler is returning as the film's protagonist. Joining him in the sequel are several familiar faces, including Chris McDonald, reprising his role as Shooter McGavin, Happy's arch-nemesis. The supporting cast is packed with some returning characters like Virginia Venit, played by Julie Bowen, but also some new faces, including a special cameo from Travis Kelce

Kelce had previously expressed an interest in being a part of the film's sequel and Sandler ensured fans that they would make it happen.

"Travis mentioned it, so we have a nice 'something' for Travis. He's going to come by," he said on The Tonight Show.

What is the plot of Happy Gilmore 2?

While plot details are under wraps, the Happy Gilmore 2 trailer hints at more outrageous golf antics, as Happy faces new challenges — both on and off the green. Expect more wild tournaments, wacky characters, and, of course, Happy's signature temper. The sequel will tap into nostalgia while introducing fresh storylines that promise plenty of laughs for old and new fans alike.

"We worked hard on the script, we didn't want to let anybody down," Sandler said in an interview on The Tonight Show.

"We're continuing to try and make it a movie that you guys will like. And we're excited."
