What Justin Bieber is really saying about Hailey Bieber on his latest album.

After months of non-stop drama and online speculation about his marriage, Justin Bieber was hiding an ace up his sleeve the whole damn time.

In July, Bieber dropped a new album, Swag, his seventh studio album, which came as a surprise to his fans. And now, he's dropped Swag II, a second instalment.

The new music marks his first new album since 2021's Justice, following a four-year hiatus.

The two-part album is described as Bieber's most personal work to date, and explores themes of fatherhood, fame, mental health and his high-profile marriage to wife, Hailey Bieber, who he married in 2018.

And wow, a lot of the latest tunes are about Hailey.

"I wanna write you a love song, baby, I wanna write you a good one," he croons to Hailey in the aptly titled 'Love Song'.

The entire album is basically a loving dedication to his wife.

In the lyrics for 'I Do' about their wedding vows, which they renewed in 2024 in Hawaii, he makes it clear that Hailey is 'the one' for him. "I do, I mean it when I say that I do," he sings. "You'll always be the one that I choose."

In one song, he alludes to some vague marital problems, but dismisses them. "I'm runnin' out of patience, I know we're gonna make it out," he croons in 'Don't Wanna'.

In 'Bad Honey', he sings about "the way you turn heads when you walk in the room," in one of many, many rather horny songs ('Need It' is soo damn raunchy!!) about Hailey.

We get it, you're a wife guy who is hot for your hot wife!

But Hailey's been loving it, and has been praising her husband for his new drop of songs in her Instagram Stories.

The latest album follows a similar theme as SWAG, which featured lyrics saying that Hailey was "iconic" and Justin "ain't walking away" from their marriage.

On one hand, it's not unusual for an artist to sing about their spouse, but the timing of such a pointed two-part album is interesting, given the public speculation that's plagued the couple lately.

Could this all be a case of crisis PR? It kind of feels like Justin is selling his marriage to us.

Bieber finished recording the album in April in Iceland, with the release teased via cryptic billboards in cities like Reykjavik, Los Angeles and New York.

Upon its debut, the news cycle quickly shifted away from Justin to Hailey, due to some curious comments she made about the release.

Listen to The Spill's hosts discuss what Hailey said. The post continues after the podcast.

Justin's cover art for Swag featured the pop star, Hailey and their son, Jack, in a series of black and white portraits.

Hailey shared a Times Square promo for the album to her Instagram Story, but her caption raised eyebrows, as she wrote: "Is it finally clocking to you f**king losers?" Ooft.

For those who are lucky enough not to be chronically online, this is an obvious callback to Bieber telling paparazzi in June during a heated exchange in Malibu: "It's not clocking to you that I'm standing on business, is it?"

The phrase quickly spread across the interwebs as a short-lived meme, given how erratic his outburst seemed.

The raw emotion behind Hailey's frank statement — going as far as to call her own followers 'f**king losers' — is something worth unpacking.

This outburst is likely to address the couple's critics and detractors: the kinds who have speculated about their marriage, or Justin's worrying mental state in recent months.

Such a brutal outburst from Hailey speaks to an unspoken truth from the Rhode founder — she might be reaching a breaking point in her marriage. The severity of the backlash they receive is taking its toll, tarnishing even their supposedly happiest moments.

It isn't the only time she's alluded to this sense of exhaustion from the constant criticism that comes from being the pop star's wife.

In a candid TikTok video posted in April 2022, she posted a rare response to persistent online harassment and comparisons to Justin's ex, Selena Gomez.

"Leave me alone at this point. I'm minding my business. I don't do anything. I don't say anything," she said.

"Leave me alone, please. Enough time has gone by where it's valid to leave me alone. I beg of you, truly. That's my only request. Leave me alone. Be miserable somewhere else, please."

While no one could blame Hailey for reaching her limit — as a nepo baby, she's been thrust into the spotlight since she was a child — the timing of such a savage swipe at her followers has only stolen the spotlight from the man she was defending.

And it's not the only example of this.

As Justin's album has arrived, the ongoing saga between him and Scooter Braun has resurfaced.

It was reported that Bieber settled his debt with Braun on July 10, with the 'Holy' singer agreeing to pay Braun a total of $31.5 million.

Multiple sources confirm the debt was officially settled just days before the release of Bieber's album Swag.

This news came after the announcement that Hailey was selling her beauty company Rhode to e.l.f. Beauty in a deal valued at up to $1 billion.

After the launch of Swag, Justin's former manager took it upon himself to publicly praise the album.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Braun said that Swag was, "without a doubt, the most authentically Justin Bieber album to date." He called it "beautiful, raw, and truly him," and highlighted how Bieber had poured his soul into the project.

The message came as a surprise, as Justin and Scooter ended their professional partnership in 2023, and there have been reports that the former friends had suffered a falling out.

Shortly after this Instagram shoutout, Hailey posted a photo of herself doing a side-eye pose with a filter, soundtracked to Mariah Carey's song 'Obsessed'.

It's unclear what prompted such a vague post from Hailey, but the timing was… interesting!

As a couple, these two have a tendency to overshadow each other's triumphs by stirring up controversy — whether intentionally or otherwise.

When Hailey graced her first cover of Vogue earlier this year, Justin decided to share a story with his followers that eclipsed any positive sentiments about the milestone.

Reflecting on a past argument, Justin said he once told his wife that she'd "never be on the cover of Vogue," his Instagram post read.

"Yikes, I know, so mean. For some reason, I felt disrespected and thought I had to retaliate... but forgive me for saying you wouldn't get a Vogue cover because clearly, I was sadly mistaken."

A bit unnecessary, J-man!

Sometimes these two can't help themselves. For example, earlier this year, Justin sparked controversy on Mother's Day by posting, "Love u moms but Mother's Day sucks ass" on Instagram. Lovely!

Then on Father's Day, Hailey commented on one of his posts, "Father's Day sucks a**."

It's like they're trolling us, but is the joke actually on them?

Their constant social media antics only make fans question the state of their marriage more — as if this is all an effort to distract from something more serious lurking underneath.
