1. Last week this 40-year-old celebrity was the ‘most annoying celebrity in Hollywood.’

Yep, Gwyneth Paltrow has won People’s Most Beautiful People ultimate crown: The Most Beautiful Person.

She really goes all out too, even giving the obligatory “I’m just a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal” quote to go along with her picture (although, considering she just recommended an ‘essential’ spring wardrobe worth $450,000, those jeans are probably pretty pricey).

Gwyneth humbly brushed the title off at the Iron Man premiere last night, saying “It’s funny, these things, because it’s like obviously not true. But it’s very sweet to be named that… Because I mean you can’t say that, you know! But it’s been wonderful. It’s been very wonderful. And as my friend said, it’s so nice that someone who has kids and is a mom and is not like 21 is named that. It’s really an honour.”

But as is always the way with poor Gwennie, not everyone is pleased with choice. The New York Post posted this comment: “If I had money, a personal trainer and a chef, I would look that good. It’s a little bit of a shot to the everyday woman. It’s not realistic.”

Paltrow also perplexed a lot of fans with her outfit on the red carpet premiere of her movie Iron Man 3 last night. It’s… interesting. Would you wear it?

3. Can you tell these beauty pageant contestants apart?

The interwebs has got itself into a bit of a twist over the photos of the twenty 2013 Miss Korea contestants. Noticing that all of the girls look extremely similar, someone posted the official pageant photos on reddit.com and thousands of people weighed in with comments.

South Korea has the highest rate of plastic surgery among 19-49 year-olds in the world, with most blaming the trend on the desire of Korean women to look more western: ‘… they’ve been brainwashed to think westernisation of their features is superior, I don’t think they want to look white, but a mix of white and Asian and definitely less Koean.’

Another commenter weighed in: ‘I live in Korea and older women complain how girls don’t look Korean anymore because of all the plastic surgery… Girls here consider eye surgery just like using make-up.’

5. Ex Victoria’s Secret model says she “felt like a piece of meat.”

Kylie Bisutti, 23, was at the height of her modelling career when she decided to give up the catwalk because she felt it clashed with her strict religious beliefs. Now living a quiet life in Montana with her husband, Bisutti has just released a book titled “I’m no Angel,” about her time modelling for the famous company. She says:

“’Pull the top further up,’ the FHM photographer encouraged me. ‘Hold up the covers like you don’t have any panties on’. I didn’t feel comfortable but he kept urging me on.”

“‘This is what Victoria’s Secret models do,’ he said. ‘This is why they hired you. If you want to be like Gisele, this is what you have to do.’ That’s when it hit me. I was being paid to strip down and pose provocatively to titillate men. It wasn’t about modeling clothes anymore; I felt like a piece of meat.”
