No matter who you are, you’ll always embarrass your teenage child.

And this is something that Gwyneth Paltrow is quickly learning from her daughter Apple Martin, 14, who Gwyneth shares with her ex-husband Chris Martin.

“I am the most embarrassing person all of a sudden — no, it’s been a couple good years that I’ve been the most embarrassing person,” she said on the The Rachael Ray Show.

“If I do anything silly at all in public, the color drains from [Apple’s] face,” she continued. “Any silly jokes, or if I dance, like in a store, God forbid. She’s like, ‘Mom.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, sorry, got it.’”

And yes, well, having your mum solo dance in a supermarket would be a bit mortifying.

The actress further explained her embarrassing-antics on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show, saying: “I mortify her [Apple]. Totally.”

“We walked into a store the other day and there was some really great song playing … and she just looked at me and she was like, ‘Don’t even think about it.’”

“I was like, ‘Oooh, Apple,’ ” Paltrow recalled of their conversation, miming the beginnings of a dance move, “and she was like, ‘Do not, Mom!’”

The 46-year-old actress married 47-year-old television writer Brad Falchuck in September last year.

2. Kim Kardashian has shared the sentimental story behind a very retro throwback photo.

Who doesn’t want some good ol’ mind-numbing Kardashian news on a Friday afternoon?

When a fan tweeted a throwback photo of Kim Kardashian (who is wearing the most fantastic matching pink tracksuit we’ve ever seen) they probably weren’t expecting the reality TV star to see it. But she did, and she shared a fun fact about the evening as well.

Kim Kardashian responded to the tweet, revealing it was one of the first times she was meeting her now-husband who she shares three kids with, rapper Kanye West.

“In this pic I was on my way to meet Kanye for his Good Life performance for the MTV Awards”, she tweeted. “I didn’t really know him but his people called my people lol and I was a girl in the audience at the live performance in Vegas. I met his mom Donda this same night”.

3. Kate Hudson has responded to the backlash over her recent weight loss campaign.

When Kate Hudson signed on as WW's (formerly known as Weight Watchers) latest ambassador, there was an immediate backlash.

In response to the comments that Kate Hudson, who is known for her conventionally attractive figure, wasn't an appropriate role model for WW, the 39-year-old actress has explained that the company is about much more than losing weight.

"My struggle is not in weight loss," she said during an interview with Today.

"Mine is about staying healthy, trying to stay focused and balanced," the actress, who is Goldie Hawn's daughter, added.

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress added that the program is focused on wellness, rather than weight loss.

"One of the things about this new re-imagining of WW is it’s not just about weight, it’s about wellness... To me, it’s all about support, you always need a support system, whether it be a trainer, a best friend, an app. Everyone’s looking to how do you get motivated, how do you stay motivated? That’s the number one thing people always ask me," she said.

Kate Hudson has three children, Ryder Robinson, 15, Bingham Bellamy, 7, and a three-month-old daughter, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa.

The Almost Famous actress is currently dating Danny Fujikawa, a musician she has known for 15 years.

4. "Any remedies?" Jessica Simpson just shared a relatable pic of her swollen pregnancy feet.

Pregnancy is bloody hard work.

From morning sickness to unbearable cravings to the whole lack of bladder control situation, there are a lot of things women don’t expect when they fall pregnant.

And for celebrities, it's definitely no different.

Jessica Simpson, who is currently in the late stages of her third pregnancy, is currently battling some pretty awful pregnancy symptoms – and she's not afraid to share them.

Posting to Twitter, the 38-year-old shared a photo of her incredibly swollen foot and ankle.

Ouch.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the actress shared the interesting remedy she's been using to ease her swollen feet.

"My feet were so swollen, I was like 'What do people do to, like, deflate it?' and you use ice," she said.

"I didn't have an ice pack. I just used chicken."

We just have one question – was it chicken or fish?

5. Meghan Markle donated a handbag to charity, and it was rejected right in front of her.

I know plenty of women would do questionable things to get their hands on the contents of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s wardrobe. The Royal has become somewhat of a style icon since she found herself on the world stage, and it’s now not unusual for her choices to sell out within hours of her leaving the house palace.

But, naturally, not everyone shares her taste.

The former Suits actor encountered one such person at British charity, SmartWorks, one of the four organisations for which she is now patron. The not-for-profit helps vulnerable women seeking employment in a variety of ways, including outfitting them with clothes to wear to job interviews.

During a recent visit to the SmartWorks HQ at St. Charles Hospital in London, the Duchess joked co-founder Lady Juliet Hughes-Hallett (a former editor of Vogue UK) about a woman who rejected one of her donations.

“The last time I was here I suggested a purse, and it was one that I had donated. And she didn’t like it! … I was like, ‘Oh, OK,'” she laughed.

“I thought it was great.”
