Awards season is well and truly in full swing, with our favourite stars once again walking the red carpet for a night of celebration at the 2026 Golden Globes.

One Battle After Another was widely expected to win big by taking home best musical or comedy and best director. And it sure did deliver.
With the Paul Thomas Anderson film competing as a comedy, best drama was anyone's game. Plenty of eyes were on Chloé Zhao's Hamnet — and for good reason, it won the category.
Timothée Chalamet came out on top in the race for lead actor in a comedy or musical for his performance in Marty Supreme, which could set the outcome for the Oscars.
The lead actor drama race promised to be an exciting show, with Wagner Moura favoured to win for The Secret Agent. In the end, he edged out Michael B. Jordan from Sinners to take home the trophy.
Stellan Skarsgård triumphed in the best supporting category for his performance in Sentimental Value.
Hamnet's Jessie Buckley won best actress in a drama, while Australian Rose Byrne took home best actress in a musical or comedy for If I Had Legs I'd Kick You.
Best supporting actress was another interesting race, with Teyana Taylor (One Battle After Another) taking home the win over Amy Madigan (Weapons) and Ariana Grande (Wicked: For Good).
