1. Four Gogglebox Australia favourites have quit the show and fans are devastated.

Gogglebox has one of the more ridiculous premises on Australian TV – people watching a TV show about people watching TV shows.

But since its premiere in 2015, Gogglebox Australia has quickly become one of the most beloved programs on television for its humour, quirk and authenticity.

And Australia has fallen in love with the everyday Australians who appear on the show as we enter their lounge rooms each week.

But in sad news this Friday afternoon, four favourites have quit the show. Revealed on Gogglebox Australia’s Instagram page, it was shared that Angie and Yvie, and Wayne and Tom will no longer be appearing on the show.

“After eight amazing seasons @angie_and_yvie and @wayneandtom have decided it’s time to switch off their TVs and farewell #GoggleboxAU,” the post revealed.

“We wish you all the best and thank you for all of your incredible TV watching! You will always be a part of the Gogglebox family.”

Fans were understandably devastated with both these couples being hilarious parts of the show, and with both garnering quite the following since appearing on the season.

“I’m actually so upset”, one person commented. “I will miss your faces and your great personalities,” wrote another.

2. Jennifer Aniston confronted Jimmy Kimmel on TV about his kids using her backyard as a toilet.

Jennifer Aniston just shared the most hilarious story about talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel's daughter pooing in her back yard.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her new film Dumplin', the actress revealed the personal story and it was...hysterical.

"That did happen, and you know what, a year went by and I didn’t know about it," Aniston reminded Kimmel.

The 49 year old said she only found out when Kimmel's wife, Molly, decided to confess one year after the incident.

"Because Jane was a lot younger, she took a s**t in the backyard, right on the lawn, right next to the beautiful pool," the actress shared.

"Then they asked for three bags. She’s healthy!"

Kimmel has two children with Molly McNearney - William, 1 and Jane, 4.

We can only hope that when Jane grows older, this story doesn't follow her. But we can only image it will.

3. The Kanye West comment that left Kim Kardashian “hysterically crying”.

Every now and then, Kanye West doesn't appear to think before he speaks.

Earlier this year, the 41-year-old rapper made a comment that implied slavery was a "choice".

“You hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice,” he said. “You were there for 400 years and it was all of y’all? It’s like we’re meant to be in prison. I like the word ‘prison’ because slavery goes too direct to the idea of blacks…Prison is something that unites us as one race," he added in the interview with TMZ Live.

He also voiced his love for US President Donald Trump.

Following the comment, there was wide speculation by many that the father-of-three was having a public breakdown. But one question was left on everyone's minds: how is Kim Kardashian reacting?

In the trailer for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians she says she drove straight home in hysterics after the comments went public.

"I rushed home, I was hysterically crying,” she says in the trailer. “So I go home…he’s totally fine."

"When he gets ramped up, he can’t control what he says, he can’t let it go," she explains. "He loves being ramped up. He’s like ‘I feel powerful when I’m ramped up. I don’t want to be so suppressed. Yeah, I say crazy s— but I’ve always said crazy s—. That’s why I’m Kanye.'"

4. Kevin Hart has stepped down from hosting the Oscars after homophobic comments.

Kevin Hart has stepped down as the host of the 2019 Oscars.

The comedian made the announcement on Twitter this afternoon after facing backlash over homophobic comments the actor posted on social media.

I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's....this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.

"I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's," he wrote on Twitter.

"This is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists," he continued.

"I sincerely apologise to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past."

Hart was selected to emcee the ceremony earlier this week before the comedian's history of derogatory jokes about the LGBTQ community resurfaced.

5. The truth behind the photos of Nick Cummins and Britt Hockley 'fighting' in public.

When photo's emerged on The Daily Mail of Nick Cummins interacting with one of the final two women he dumped on national television, Brittany Hockley, things looked... tense.

Hands were being thrown around and mouths looked agape in anger, leading many to believe that things between the former couple were not great. Despite Brittany posting to her Instagram Story a video of her smiling next to the Honey Badger, fans weren't convinced.

A source who witnessed the interaction told The Daily Mail that the music was too loud to determine what was being said between the two, but that "they seemed to be having a heated discussion".

So to clarify, Brittany Hockley spoke with the Kyle and Jackie O Show on the truth behind the photos.

“He was actually supposed to be in Bali so it was pretty unexpected [that he was there]," Brittany explained to the radio hosts. “Somebody actually told me…Nick’s in Bali and won’t be here.

“Then pow, there he was.”

She continued: "I’ve just seen the photos actually and they do look very heated. But to be honest, I think we were probably discussing whether we should have tacos or burritos for lunch. I don’t think it was very serious at all.

"We actually had a really really good catch-up... it was very civil. It was actually quite nice to see him."
