Where are they now? The Girls of the Playboy Mansion, 11 years later.

There was no guilty pleasure quite like ‘The Girls Next Door’.

It was highly inappropriate, yet a mainstay of the E! Network’s daytime scheduling.

It gave a new definition to the ‘noughties’ and honestly, no matter how much reality television tries to conjure up new and crazy premises, nothing will ever compare to The Girls of the Playboy Mansion.

The show followed the lives of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends, Kendra, Holly and Bridget who all lived with Hef in his legendary Los Angeles home.

They had allowances. And curfews. It was bizarre. Mostly because it was their real life.

It has now been 11 years since Kendra Wilkinson, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt left their bunny ears, Hugh Hefner and the mansion behind.

Here’s what they’re up to now.

Kendra Wilkinson

Kendra Wilkinson was freshly 18 years old when she moved into the Playboy mansion.

In her 2010 autobiography 'Sliding Into Home', Wilkinson, now 34, admitted she "had to be very drunk or smoke lots of weed" to get through sex with Hugh Hefner.

The reality TV star left the show to marry American football player Hank Baskett, and was also given her own reality spin-off series, Kendra On Top. The television show documented the highs and lows of Kendra and Hank's marriage, from having their children to their highly-publicised cheating scandal in 2014.

The incident involved Hank allegedly cheating on Kendra with two transgender women.

Kendra stayed with Hank and they further documented their struggles on reality show Marriage Boot Camp.

The couple, who share two children — son Hank, nine, and daughter Alijah Mary, four - eventually filed for divorce in 2018.

Kendra has also appeared on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! and US Dancing with the Stars.

Holly Madison

Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner's number one girlfriend, almost married the Playboy founder but in 2009 they split, reportedly because Holly wanted to have kids.

Holly too was given her own spin-off series by the E! Network, titled Holly's World.

The now 39-year-old appeared on Dancing with the Stars, and became the star of Vegas burlesque show, Peepshow.

She has been romantically linked with Criss Angel, Russell Brand, and Benji Madden, before meeting and then marrying businessman Pasquale Rotella.

In 2013, the couple both married and had their first child together, daughter Rainbow Aurora.

Holly published her first memoir in 2015, Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, in which she focused on her time in the mansion.

Holly claimed that Hef "pitted" his girlfriends against each other, was verbally abusive and would often offer out drugs to the girls. Hef denied the claims.

Holly also shared the tension between her and Kendra, saying the fellow girlfriend was "the fakest person I've ever met".

Kendra responded in 2015 after the book release, admitting they "were never friends".

"At the end of the day, what we did was we just f--ked the same man," Kendra said of her relationship with Holly.

In 2016, Holly welcomed her second child Forest Leonardo. In 2018, she and her husband filed for divorce.

Bridget Marquardt

And then there was Bridget, who is now 45 years old.

After leaving Hugh Hefner, Bridget met Nick Carpenter and the two have been in a long-term relationship ever since, becoming engaged in 2015.

Now Bridget has a YouTube channel with 20,000 subscribers. In 2016 she documented her IVF journey after revealing she had her eggs frozen in 2008, the same year she left Hef.

A year later, she revealed her IVF journey had not gone to plan after finding out her frozen eggs had not survived.

Bridget has spoken about not being friends with the former housemates, saying in 2016: "It's kind of sad. Like I feel like we have a bond, the three of us. It's kind of like, it's not like a sisterhood, it's not like friends, I mean it is friends, but it's something totally different than any other relationship you could possibly imagine."

That made about as much sense as the show. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
