The 'twisted' reason Glen Powell's ex hoped he'd end up with Sydney Sweeney.

We all remember the Anyone But You press tour. The flirty interviews. The behind-the-scenes chemistry. The lingering looks on the red carpet.

It was PR gold and the internet ate it up. But for one person, it wasn't entertainment. It was heartbreak.

When Glen Powell's ex-girlfriend Gigi Paris suddenly unfollowed Sydney Sweeney and then split from Powell in 2023, everyone knew something was up.

There were whispers. Was Powell cheating? Was Sweeney, who was engaged at the time, the other woman?

All eyes were on Paris too. Did she know the truth? Was she aware some people were even rooting for Sweeney and Powell to be together?

Was she really supposed to just… smile and wave? Was she actually okay with it?

We now have the answer, and no — she's not okay with it.

The model and designer has just spoken out about that time in her life, and she didn't hold back.

Appearing on the Too Much podcast, Paris said the Anyone But You press tour pushed her to breaking point.

"I had two options. I could either pretend like I was going along with everything and have everyone wonder, like, 'Are they hooking up? Are they not hooking up? Is she okay with this? What the f**k?'," she told host Emma Klipstein.

"Or stand up for myself and say, 'No, I'm actually not okay with this, and I'm walking away.' So that's what I decided to do."

And then came the moment she knew it was over.

Paris had just secured a work visa to join Powell in Australia. She was getting ready to visit him on set.

And then the phone rang.

"He called and said, 'The producers and I have discussed, and I think it's best that you don't come to visit'," Paris said.

"That's when I hung up, and I was like, 'This motherf***er is done to me'."

She went to Australia anyway, "just to look him in the eye and break up with him."

But what followed was weeks of awkwardness.

"I was stuck there for weeks doing my jobs and there was a rule. I was not allowed near set, I was not allowed anywhere near production, it was very bizarre."

The break-up was devastating, she said. But the hardest part wasn't the rumours. It was his silence.

Powell and Sweeney have consistently said they're 'just friends' since the movie came out, leading fans to assume the rumoured 'affair' was just a good ol' Hollywood publicity stunt.

But it was one that cost Paris her boyfriend of three years.

She says all she needed from Powell at that time was his support.

Ultimately, it was Powell's unwillingness to shut the speculation down that she couldn't move past, explaining she felt like she wasn't a "priority".

"Where are you when you just need to stand up and say, 'No, I would never cheat on my girlfriend. I wouldn't do that.' That's all that needed to be said. And that wasn't said… Never once," Paris said.

"I honestly hoped that they'd end up together, because I was like, at least it would make it worth it for me.

"Don't make an ass out of me. Like, just don't make a fool out of someone you've been with for over three years, talking about 'forever' with. Just have some decency, you know?"

Fans started speculating again when Sweeney reportedly split from her fiancé, producer Jonathan Davino, stopped wearing her engagement ring, and was later spotted at Powell's sister's wedding.

The rumours got so bad that Powell's mum Cyndy weighed in on the drama, telling the Daily Mail the rumours were "silly" and the "really close friends" were "definitely not together".

As for Paris? She might not have gotten closure, but she's found her voice. And she's using it.
