The language of Generation Alpha has become somewhat of an enigma to those of us who are a little older.
These kids are unlike any of their predecessors, as they are growing up in a world where information is on the other end of a Google search and YouTube is their king.
This means they communicate in a vastly different way than the rest of us.

Along with North, Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter Blue Ivy has become a major figure of Gen A. The oldest of the generation are 15 years old this year, and were born in 2010. However, there are millions of kids just like them who are making trends and creating slang online.
Below, we translate the words you've probably never heard of because Generation Alpha made them up.
Skibidi Toilet = Not everyone agrees on its meaning. It originated from the Russian rave band Little Big. A remix was made of the song and then repurposed on YouTube by the channel "DaFuq?! Boom!". In the clip, it shows a head in a toilet singing the song. It doesn't really mean anything. It's just an inside joke.
Only In Ohio or "Ohio" = To say this means that something is weird or strange or creepy. Since Ohio is considered to be a bit of a weird place, to call something 'Ohio' is an insult.
Gyat or Gyatt = Big bottom.
Fanum tax = YouTube creator Fanum "taxed" people by stealing their food.
Dogwater = A derogatory term. It refers to an unskilled person. Used mostly while playing video games but also means "trash" outside of gaming.
Brain Rot = A term used to describe the perceived negative mental effects of consuming excessive low-quality online content.
Sus = To call someone sus means they are suspicious or suspect.
Bet = To agree with someone or something or means "okay".
Bussin = Means something is really good.
Drip = Means someone has good style or sense of fashion or that someone is wearing designer clothes.
Ate = A compliment indicating someone performed exceptionally well or looks outstanding. Saying "you ate that" means the person impressed others or "devoured" the task.
Cap/No Cap = To "cap" means to lie. To say "no cap" means that you're... you guessed it... not lying.
Low Key = A way to describe something that's intentionally subtle, under-the-radar, or not widely known.
Rizzler = A derivative of the word 'charisma'. Someone who is a pro at flirting with people, or has "good game".
Savage = Describes someone who is boldly honest, fearless, or does things without concern for conventional social rules.
Sigma = Widely known as the 18th letter of the Greek alphabet, Gen A use it to refer to a man who is popular and dominant. They may also have 'traditional values' that typically come off as sexist.
What the Sigma? = It is used as a substitute for expressions like "What the heck?" or to describe something cool or good.
Delulu = A shortened version of "delusional," describing someone with unrealistic expectations or beliefs.
Mewing = A technique where the tongue is put at the top of the mouth to make the jaw look more square and improve sleep.
NPC = This means non-playable character, and usually refers to extras in a video game. It means the person doesn't think for themselves.
Aura/Negative Aura = Refers to someone's social appeal, coolness factor, or overall vibe. "Aura points" can be gained or lost through actions.
Just Put the Fries in the Bag, Bro = An expression of impatience urging someone to get to the point or finish what they're doing.
Opp = Abbreviated form of "opposition," referring to an enemy, rival, or someone working against you.
L = Representing "loss" or failure, typing just "L" indicates something negative happened. You also might 'take the L' if you fail at something. Contrasts with "W" which indicates a win or success.
It's Giving = A phrase that identifies the essence or vibe. For example, "It's giving winter cosy vibes."
Pookie = Inspired by loved-up social media couple Pookie and Jett, it's become an affectionate nickname for someone you care deeply about.
Chad Alpha = Evolved from internet "Chad" memes and describes alpha male stereotypes of a typically strong, attractive, confident masculine figure.
Glaze = The act of excessively praising or complimenting someone to the point where it becomes uncomfortable, insincere, or cringe worthy.
Mog = To visibly outshine others in terms of physical attractiveness. If you're "mogging" your friends, you're noticeably better looking in comparison.
Zang = A playful modification of the exclamation "dang," used to express surprise, admiration, or disappointment.
Bop = Could be a catchy, enjoyable song or referring to someone (typically female) who is romantically involved with multiple partners simultaneously.
Yeet = A versatile expression with two primary meanings: to throw something with considerable force or enthusiasm, or to express extreme excitement and energy.
