What does your rent get you?

I live with my husband, Rodney, who restores vintage posters in his home studio and our 21-year-old son, Ethan, who works as an international model. We've been here for more than 10 years.

It's a stand-alone three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a double garage, front and back yards and a three-car driveway.

Our home is a light-filled place to relax, where every room feels connected to the garden and the rhythm of our daily life.

The main living space is open plan, flowing seamlessly from the lounge to the dining area and into the heart of the home — our kitchen.

Floor-to-ceiling doors spill natural light across the room, especially in the late afternoon when the whole space glows. Our dog and cat usually follow the sunlight, finding their favourite warm spots throughout the day.

The kitchen is the star of the home, anchored by beautiful Middle Eastern–inspired mosaic tiles that always spark conversation.

It's where family, friends and clients gather, particularly in the warmer months when the entertaining spills outdoors. In cooler seasons, evenings often move around the backyard fire, creating a cosy extension of the indoor living space.

We've filled our home with an eclectic collection of Art Deco and vintage treasures gathered over many years from auction houses and second-hand stores, pieces that feel like they have their own stories.

Unique McLaren pottery, hand-painted signs by Rodney and carefully curated vintage posters add colour, history and personality to the rooms, creating a warm, lived-in aesthetic that reflects who we are and what we love.

One of the things we appreciate most is how the layout effortlessly supports both work and life.

My podcast recording studio sits within my home office, while Rodney's restoration studio for vintage posters operates from the double garage out the back.

The spaces are separate enough to let us run two creative businesses, yet close enough to feel part of the home's welcoming flow.

Every area has its own charm, but it's the blend of light, openness, character and purpose that truly makes the space feel like ours.

What do you love about your home?

I love my office; my collection of books and pottery ground me and lift me when I might be having a challenging day.

My office is all about me and what I love and what I'm passionate about. Each item on my bookshelf tells a story and I love it!

Why did you choose this property?

We've lived here for over a decade, enjoying the ease of our son being able to walk to and from secondary school, and now the flexibility the home provides us all as our individual personal and professional lives have grown.

Do you plan to stay here long-term?

We love it, the owners are really supportive, we deal directly with them and have never had any problems. We really respect the relationship and each other.

We are really happy here. It would only be if our circumstance changed dramatically that we would look at moving
