The current contestants on The Biggest Loser: The Next Generation

Two contestants and their families have been removed from The Biggest Loser television show due to “an event” which occurred during the filming of the current series.

A statement from Channel Ten reads: “Very early in the process of putting together The Biggest Loser: The Next Generation, there was an event involving two contestants.

“In line with our strict duty of care obligations, the incident was referred to the relevant authorities. Therefore, we cannot comment any further other than to say that contestants were unable to continue with the show.”

The contestants in question have not been featured on the show since it went on air earlier this month.

3. Glee star checks himself into rehab.

Cory Monteith, who stars as Finn Hudson on Glee, is the latest celebrity to check into rehab.

His rep told People magazine the actor “has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery”.

It’s not the first time 30-year-old Monteith has been in rehab for drugs, he told Parade in 2011, that he had a “serious [drug] problem” when he was 19 and was doing “anything and everything, as much as possible.”

5.Farnsy really is The Voice.

Sixty-three-year-old John Farnham has been voted as Australia’s best singer of all time by a panel of Australian singers and musicians.

This can only mean one thing, time for a Comeback tour.

Farnham beat out AC/DC frontman Bon Scott who came in at number 2, with Tina Arena taking out the third spot. Other notable mentions in the list of 50 were Michael Hutchence (no. 4), Guy Sebastian (no. 6), Sia Furler (no. 8), Gotye (no. 30) and Olivia Newton-John in the 36th spot.

7. Ryan Gosling: Who are you calling baby?

Today in Ryan Gosling news, the actor continues to make women swoon the world over.

According to the New York Post , Gosling and Mendes were at the premiere of their movie The Place Beyond the Pines when a photographer called out “Hey, baby!” in Mendes’ direction.

An eyewitness reported that: “Ryan completely flipped out, and it got heated. Ryan got in the guy’s face and said, ‘Who are you calling baby?'”

“Eva had to jump in and calm everyone down before it came to fisticuffs,” the eyewitness added. “Ryan then made nice and shook the guy’s hand.”

Imagine if the photographer had said “Hey girl”…

In a new book called The Power of Positive Drinking, comedian Cleo Rocos reveals that she, TV star Kenny Everett and lead singer of Queen, Freddie Mercury disguised Princess Diana as a male model so that she could enjoy a night out free of attention at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern – a gay bar in London.
Dressed in an army jacket, black cap and sunglasses, the People’s Princess was unrecognisable in the crowd.
“When we walked in … we felt she was obviously Princess Diana and would be discovered at any minute. But people just seemed to blank her. She sort of disappeared. But she loved it,” Rocos said.
