The Biggest Loser host Fiona Falkiner's bathroom trick is one we could all learn from.

Biggest Loser host Fiona Falkiner has admitted she does not own a pair of scales in an emotional Instagram post that has reflected on her progress since on her own time on the reality show.

Posting a composite image of herself now and another flashing back to eleven years ago, Falkiner wrote about how her life has changed since appearing on the show.

“Hosting The Biggest Loser Transformed reminds me daily of the girl I used to be. It’s been eleven years since I started my own transformation,” she wrote alongside the image.

Hosting The Biggest Loser Transformed reminds me daily of the girl I used to be. It’s been eleven years since I started my own transformation. The girl on the left believed that happiness was based upon the numbers on a scale. She used to be full of negative thoughts and self doubt, the words “I can’t” were her favourite. The girl on the right does not even own scales. She realised she had to change her mindsets and started working towards self acceptance, believing in herself and being kind to herself. She now focuses upon being truly happy on the inside and that helps look after the outside. She is now strong and knows if she puts her mind to it anything is possible❤️✌????️???????? @trimfitbodies #trimfitbodies #changeispossible #healthyisastateofmind

The 33-year-old wrote that her mindset has been transformed in the last 11 years, when she once invested her energy and her happiness in a pair of scales.

“The girl on the left believed that happiness was based upon the numbers on a scale. She used to be full of negative thoughts and self doubt, the words “I can’t” were her favourite. The girl on the right does not even own scales.”

She added that the reasons behind this change was a huge push in self-awareness and self-acceptance.

“She realised she had to change her mindsets and started working towards self acceptance, believing in herself and being kind to herself. She now focuses upon being truly happy on the inside and that helps look after the outside. She is now strong and knows if she puts her mind to it anything is possible.”

Fans were quick to celebrate Falkiner’s candour and honesty about her relationship with her body.

“I also agree, scales aren’t everything. There are so many way of measuring successes. Your clothes, blood pressure, not being as exhausted when climbing stairs, your mind set. The list goes on. You look amazing,” one wrote.

Another added: “You have always been beautiful, even 11 years ago..it is just that now the glow in you matches the energy you have on the inside.”

It’s not the first time the TV host has been open about her body image, sharing  a less-than-happy moment from her dating past, where a guy she liked told her she was “too fat” to date.

“It was so soul shattering that it became one of the reasons I signed up to The Biggest Loser. But, when now I think about that incident and the person I was then compared to the person I am now and I’m so completely different,” Falkiner, who now hosts the show, told Body and Soul.

Falkiner was announced as the host of The Biggest Loser back in 2015 after first appearing on the show back in 2006.
