ATTENTION: You better take a good look at them now, because you will not be seeing these Australian stars at the Logies tonight.
Channel 7 has made the call to keep its biggest personalities in Sydney instead of sending them to the Logies, preferring to keep them on hand in case of breaking news.
Sunrise executive Michael Pell threw serious shade at TV’s Night of Nights, telling The Daily Telegraph, “The reality is there are more important things going on in the world at the moment.”
More important than the Logies? Maybe he means the second Royal Baby.
Of course, having better things to do is an excellent excuse to not go to a party. But you’ve got to wonder whether Channel 7 might also be keen to keep their stars away from the awards show that no doubt brings quite a sizeable audience to one of their competitors. Or it’s about Nepal. Who can be sure?….
Shaun Micallef also joined the ranks of those that dare to diss the Logies, saying he would never considering hosting them again.
“I did it once and I got away with it (but) I would never do it again,” Micallef told News.com.au. “I had nothing to lose when I did it. I was still on the ABC.
“(Now) I’d just not consider it.”
Prepare yourselves. These are just some of the faces you won’t be seeing at the Logies tonight.
