The highly-anticipated and controversial book Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival, written by British journalist and writer Omid Scobie, was released this week — and explosive claims regarding the royal family have emerged.
The co-author of Finding Freedom, Scobie writes about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's escape from "the firm", pulling back the curtain on a royal family "in crisis".

However, supporters of the monarchy claim the book is one-sided and biased, with sources saying Megan and Harry gave Scobie information to paint their side of the story.
In pre-publication interviews, Scobie, 42, told the Times: "I have mutual friends with [Meghan], and that definitely helps with getting information and breaking details."
Here are some of the biggest bombshells.
King Charles was seen as unfit to rule.
According to the book, Queen Elizabeth "lacked faith" in King Charles' ability to rule, seeing him as an unfit successor for the crown.
"There was a slight lack of faith in her son," Scobie shared in his new book, claiming the Queen had "repeatedly complained about Charles’s extravagantly luxurious lifestyle."
