For the binge-watchers and television fanatics, there's no greater day than this: the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards.

The prestigious awards ceremony honours the best TV shows (and the people who make them), with nods this year going to some of the greatest hits including The Bear, Severance, Adolescence, The Studio, The Pitt, The White Lotus and Hacks.

It's a night filled with glitz, glamour, and comedy — with this year's opening monologue and hosting duties going to comedian Nate Bargatze.
