Emma Watson just gloriously proved why her "tits" and feminism are 100% compatible.

Emma Watson has offered up the perfect response to those who have criticised her recent ‘topless’ photo shoot for the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.

Many claimed the actress – who shot to fame as Hermione in the Harry Potter film franchise – was contradicting her feminist views by posing in a jacket with no top or bra underneath.

“What a lovely role model…HA!” wrote one person when the image was shared on Instagram.

But the 26-year-old Beauty and the Beast actress has hit back at the critics, saying that feminism should not be used as “a stick with which to beat other women with”.

“[Feminism] is about freedom, it’s about liberation, it’s about equality,” she told BBC News when asked to respond to the controversy over the photos.

“I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it.

“It’s very confusing.”
