What Emma and Hayley Watkins really want you to know about sisterhood.

Growing up with a sister? It's equal parts chaos and comfort.

You fight over who gets the top bunk, borrow clothes without asking (and then deny it) and argue about things that make no sense in hindsight. But you also have someone who knows your quirks, your moods and your weird inside jokes.

And at some point, without even noticing, the relationship shifts. You go from bickering to realising, "Oh. This is my person."

That's exactly the vibe you get from Emma and Hayley Watkins.

Whether they're navigating everyday life together or working on something big behind the scenes, they show that sisterhood isn't just about being related — it's about trust, humour and knowing someone's always in your corner.

Emma and Hayley have the kind of connection that's only grown stronger with time.

"When you're little, four years feels like a massive age gap," Emma said.

"It's only as adults that we really started to understand how in sync we are."

They often finish each other's thoughts (sometimes mid-sentence) and work side by side — whether they're brainstorming a new idea, swapping advice or laughing at the same joke.

"I feel like we have a telepathic connection," Hayley said. "We think alike. We don't have to explain things to each other."

That closeness has become a real source of strength.

"You grow up not realising how strong that bond is," Emma said. "But there's a strength in knowing someone has your back."

"What I love most about being a duo," Hayley added, "is that I never feel alone. Emma's always there. She's my person."

It's the kind of connection kids often understand straight away — whether it's with a sibling, a friend, a cousin or someone they just click with.

"You've been through the highs and lows with that person," Emma said. "And that gives you confidence. Like, if I've got them beside me, I can take on anything."

"And we work together to figure out problems," Hayley added. "That's something you start doing as kids — learning to take turns, share ideas, sort things out. It really shapes how you connect with people later on."

And while their bond as sisters is a big part of it, Emma said what really matters goes beyond that.

"It's not just about being siblings," she said. "It's about having someone who sees you, supports you and reminds you of who you are."

With years of performing together in kids' entertainment, Emma and Hayley are always eager to team up.

So when the chance came up to become Friends of Frozen, they were all in. The themes at the heart of the movie — bravery, connection, leadership and loyalty — really resonated.

"I definitely relate to Anna," Hayley laughed. "She's loyal, spontaneous and just wants to help everyone. Emma is more like Elsa — she has this calm strength and is such a natural leader."

Emma nodded: "Hayley's so warm, funny and engaging — people are drawn to her, just like Anna. I love that Frozen shows different kinds of strength, and that love isn't always romantic. It can be about family, too."

To celebrate the partnership, the sisters took on a LEGO® Frozen Arendelle Castle time-trial challenge — and yes, it got competitive.

"We both had a LEGO® Arendelle Frozen castle to build… and we had to race each other," Hayley said. "It was chaos! But amazing. It took me right back to my childhood. And Emma was so quick and efficient."

"Hayley actually threw my rulebook on the floor," Emma laughed. "We were in full sister rivalry mode and had so much fun building the castle."

From LEGO® sets to Disney Frozen Mattel Dolls, they're all for anything that encourages kids to express themselves through storytelling and imagination.

"LEGO® is such a foundation of play," Emma said. "It gives kids structure, but also space to create freely. That mix sparks so much imagination."

And for Hayley, dolls offer something just as valuable.

"The Frozen Mattel Anna and Elsa dolls let kids act out big feelings, test ideas and enjoy the fun of make-believe," she said. "It really helps build confidence and connection."

Emma and Hayley might be sisters, but working together has brought a whole new dynamic to their relationship.

"I always know I have Emma," Hayley said. "She's my go-to for advice, support and laughs. I know I'm never doing any of this alone."

"We know how to balance each other," Emma added. "We've learnt when to step in and when to step back. That's the beauty of being a duo — there's trust and respect."

Outside of work, they keep it simple — going for walks, catching up over a cup of tea, chatting through the day.

Because sisterhood, whether it starts in childhood or later in life, is about showing up.

"It's about different strengths, different stories — and the love that brings you back to each other," Emma said.
