Emily Ratajkowski just gave us her makeup routine for a night out and it's super easy.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that when your name is Emily Ratajkowski, and you’re one of the most beautiful models and actresses in the world, there is a LOT of time spent on your look.

But the 25-year-old has taken beauty site Into The Gloss through her standard ‘going out on a Friday night’ makeup routine and we have to say, we’re surprised at how simple – and cheap – it actually is.

Before detailing her go-to look, Ratajkowski says there’s one must-have: a glass of wine.

“I love having a glass of wine and taking my time to do it – that’s really fun for me,” she said.

We totally get it, Em.

She starts out by washing her face and applying a face oil – “Even if I already have makeup on, I like to start fresh,” she says – before applying a thin layer of her favourite foundation: Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation.

Her next step involves tidying up her brows, before starting on her signature cat eye.

“I’m also very committed to a cat eye. I’m always like, ‘I don’t need it! I don’t need it!’ But I’ve been doing it since I was 15, so I always end up throwing it on,” she said.

Her go-to product for getting perfect liner every time is Revlon Colorstay Skinny Liquid Liner, a pharmacy find that will only set you back $25.

Emily reveals she often skips blush and bronzer, instead using Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip and Cheek Balm to highlight her cheekbones and the bridge of her nose.

For her signature messy-hair look, the Gone Girl star starts by adding some curls with a basic iron, before brushing them out and spraying a texture mist to keep everything in place.

Don’t have any on hand? Emily says she often uses baby powder instead.

“I’ve been using baby powder for more volume. The smell isn’t great, but it works just as well,” she said.

“I’ve tried every kind of dry shampoo, and they don’t work. I just have to use a powder instead.”
