1. Em Rusciano has given birth to a baby boy and shared his beautiful name. 

Comedian, singer and radio presenter Em Rusciano has given birth and announced her newborn son’s name all in one day, and it’s completely adorable.

She has named her son Elio Arthur Rusciano-Barrow, and today is his birthday.

The media personality and performer has two other children, daughters Marchella and Odette, with her husband Scott Barrow.

Sadly, the best-selling author suffered a miscarriage and lost her son, named Ray, at 13 weeks in May 2017.

In a Facebook post to her legion of fans, Em wrote of the experience “About 10 weeks ago I got the most wondrous surprise. I found out I was pregnant,” she began. “I was going to announce it this Monday as we’d hit 13 weeks, but instead I will be at home in the most exquisite pain I can possibly fathom.

“Yesterday I found out that my little boy was lost to me.”

Congratulations to the beautiful family.

In hectic and slightly alarming news, the cast and crew of Network Ten’s I’m A Celebrity have been evacuated from the South African jungle.

Former Gogglebox stars and current camp mates Angie and Evie had to leave their jungle home this week after a Mozambican spitting cobra decided to come over and chill by their bunk beds.

According to Who, the highly venomous snake slithered up behind Angie’s bed, clearly looking for some ace conversation, prompting producers to evacuate all staff from the area. You can watch the terrifying moment on Instagram.

This particular species of snake is known to be one of the most dangerous in Africa because of its ability to literally spit venom at its prey without having to bite.

The publication also reports an extensive search for the reptile took place, but came up empty.

Now THAT is the stuff of nightmares. Sleep tight, friends.

44-year-old American actress Sarah Paulson has revealed the very adorable (and new age) way her 76-year-old girlfriend Holland Taylor sparked their relationship.

“It’s a long story. We met a very, very long time ago,” Paulson share on Watch What Happens Live, adding that she was with someone else at the time.

“We were doing a thing at Martha Plimpton’s house. It was for an organisation that she was working with and we were both doing a little PSA for it,” Paulson said.

“We sort of breezed by each other.”

Following the encounter, the American Horror Story actress says the pair started following each other on Twitter.

“Holland Taylor slid into your DMs?” Paulson’s American Horror Story co-star Billy Eichner asked.

“She actually did!” she hilariously replied.

Throughout the relationship’s infancy in 2015, people warned Paulson about this ‘unconventional’ union and the effect dating a 74-year-old woman could have on the Emmy Award winner’s career.

Speaking to The Edit, Paulson said she’d never worried about blending her professional and personal life until people told her to be “careful”.

“Early on, when people found out I was with [Taylor], some said,  ‘I think you have to be careful, I’m afraid it’s going to affect your career negatively,’” the personality said.

“I was like, ‘what?’ It never occurred to me at all.”

The warnings stopped Paulson from going public with her relationship for some time.

Australian radio star Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones has admitted that Heath Ledger was the most difficult celebrity he ever interviewed.

Speaking on the Who Are You? podcast earlier this week, the 50-year-old explained that the late actor was challenging to interview.

“I don’t want to speak ill of the dead, but just if you wanted to see the decline of an interview subject, as years went on,” Jonesy explained.

“He came on for movies like 10 Things I Hate About You. I found once we got past A Knight’s Tale, he was just over it. [He was] over interviews,” he continued.

Jonesy added that it became increasingly frustrating over the years to try and interview Ledger.

“You [the interviewer] have to make an effort and they [the actor] have to make an effort,” Jonesy explained.

“So with Heath’s last interview with us for Brokeback Mountain, I just thought, ‘Man, come on, just give us something!'”

5. Georgia Love wore the same dress as the Australian Open staff to interview Anna Wintour.

When Georgia Love was assigned to interview Vogue editor Anna Wintour at the Australian Open, she knew this was an important fashion moment.

So the Channel Ten journalist and former Bachelorette spent “hours” choosing her outfit in an attempt to nail the elusive balance of summery, yet professional, yet fashionable.

And she thought she’d done pretty well – until she arrived and looked around the room.

That’s when the 30-year-old realised she was wearing a very similar blue shirt-dress to the staff at the event.
