A serious investigation into Liz Hurley's eclectic taste in men.

British actress and model Elizabeth Hurley has experienced 'four great loves of her life'. And with the news of her and Billy Ray Cyrus' new relationship, a fifth could be in store.

But I'm getting ahead of myself, right!

Okay, so over the Easter break, Cyrus and Hurley posted a coupley photo of themselves embracing with the country singer planting a kiss on the actor's cheek.

The image was captioned 'Happy Easter' and in the world of celebrity couple hard-launches, this is about as unsubtle as you could get.

It's official. It's happening. Miley Cyrus has a new step-mummy and she's Elizabeth Hurley.

This relationship truly came on like a wrecking ball and it hit us so hard.

Hurley and Cyrus first met while working together on the 2022 holiday film Christmas in Paradise. In the years since, Billy Ray has gotten divorced, married and divorced again.

He's a busy boy and Hurley is no stranger to jumping from one relationship to another.

After a string of rather random romances, are we that surprised she's now seemingly dating Billy Ray Cyrus? What can Liz say: she simply loves love!

"I'd definitely be open to the idea of being loved, loving someone, having someone fantastic in my life and sharing it," she told Tatler in 2020.

"I don't know if marriage comes into that to be honest, because I'm not going to have more children, and I don't need anyone to pay my bills or give me a roof over my head. But I would like someone for companionship, fun."

And fun she has had over the years.

Hurley's most iconic relationship was with charming British actor, rom-com king and perpetual grump, Hugh Grant. The two met in 1987 on the set of Remando Al Viento and were one of the hottest It Couples of the '90s.

They were together for 13 years before their amicable split in 2000. Despite their breakup, they have remained close friends.

"He is annoying. But I annoy him too. I mean, it's a mutual annoyance. But we love each other a lot," she told Access Hollywood in 2015.

Their relationship in the following years has been one bonded by the art of trolling each other senselessly.

"Happy 60th Birthday to the glorious Hugh Grant — a magnificent addition to the human race," Liz posted in 2020.

"Even though he looks like a monkey," she added.

Hurley then dated American film producer Steve Bing in the early 2000s. Their relationship was brief but led to the birth of their son Damian, born in 2002. Bing passed away in 2020.

Next on the list of great loves was Indian businessman Arun Nayar, who she married in 2007 after dating for several years. The couple divorced in 2011, a split the actress says was amicable.

"My husband and I had the most amicable divorce in the world," she told Tatler. "My lawyer said it was the cheapest case she'd ever handled because neither of us wanted anything."

Then came the romance that most Australians know very well: her relationship with local icon and fast bowler, the late Shane Warne.

The English actress was even engaged to the Australian cricket legend. Their romance began in 2010, and they were engaged from 2011 until their split in 2013.

"We come from very different worlds, so I think that's fascinating, if not odd, to many," she told UK Grazia when they were together.

"It helps to be open to new things. Some close off and become more insular as they grow older; for me, it's the other way. I care less what people think. I find it liberating."

In 2022, Warne died of a heart attack at the age of 52, while on holiday in Thailand. It's a death that the actress still carries with her.

"Of the four great loves of my life, two are dead – I always say to the other two, you'd better watch your backs," she joked with The Times UK.

"But yes, it was very hard and it still is very hard. Losing Shane was terrible. It's taken a long time to sink in… I honestly kept thinking he'd call and it would turn out to be some big Aussie joke."

Hurley has also been romantically connected to a bunch of high-profile men, including American actor and comedian Denis Leary, American actor Justin Theroux, Canadian basketball player Steve Nash and British aristocrat William Annesley.

That's what we call range, my friends.

Billy Ray Cyrus is just one man in a long line of rather random Liz Hurley boyfriends.

Will he be the last? Stay tuned!
