Fashion trends often come full circle, and it seems we're heading back to an era of comfort— but with a stylish twist.
In a recent episode of Nothing To Wear host Leigh Campbell spoke with fashione editor Tamara Holland about upcoming trends, and a particular style set to dominate our autumn wardrobes.
If you thought track pants were relegated to the back of your wardrobe after lockdown, think again. According to Leigh, they're making a major comeback — just not in the way you might expect.

"They're not your bald, grey marl old ones from the back of the cupboard," Leigh said.
"They're ones you can wear at home but then also wear out of the house.
"It's estimated that sweatpants are going to increase by 25 per cent for the coming spring/summer in the Northern Hemisphere So we hated them after lockdown, and now we're back in sweatpants."
But the 2025 version is more elevated.
This trend is part of a larger movement that Leigh identified as "elevated sportswear, which Australians do very well, and the proliferation of waterproofs."
