
As I get older, saying the phrase "I don't think I've eaten a single vegetable this week" sounds less and less funny and cute and more and more cringe and concerning.
Alas, here I am, a 29-year-old whose diet consists mostly of bread and red wine (Jesus alert!).
It wasn't until my Mamamia Out Loud co-host Jessie Stephens recommended a simple roasted broccoli recipe that sounded too good to be true that I finally gave this "cooking vegetables thing" a go.
Woah.
My world changed.
Now? I've been eating roasted broccoli every day for two weeks.
