I recently switched out my morning cereal for steak and I wish I'd done it sooner.
Keen to get more protein into my mornings, I started pan frying a minute steak and serving it up with half an avocado.
I now buy a six-pack of minute steaks at the start of every week. I season them and store them in the fridge.
Every morning, I fry one up and it's genuinely quicker than making a bowl of cereal. After three weeks of having 'dinner for breakfast', I feel fuller for longer, more energised and I no longer get those mid-morning coffee jitters.
Also? I'm snacking way less.
It's not a heavy meal, but it is savoury, creamy and satisfying. Plus, I now look forward to eating breakfast every morning.
