Amazing news for Australian sport.
Australian Dylan Alcott just took out the title in the US Open.
After an epic battle, the 25-year-old world number one ranked player won the wheelchair quad singles event, for athletes with three limbs affected by disability.

Alcott won his first US Open title, defeating American David Wagner 6-1, 4-6, 7-5, and his second Grand Slam title, after taking out the Australian Open earlier this year. “I’ve been training so hard for months and months, I’ve been in Europe for eight weeks and then home for a week and then back over here — it’s just been full on,” Alcott said, according to the ABC. “So to come home with the title is absolutely unbelievable.” Alcott is also a motivational speaker and is known for ‘wheelchair crowdsurfing’ at music festivals.
