Dua Lipa just confirmed her engagement. But it's the ring's backstory that'll melt you.

Dua Lipa has finally confirmed what fans have been speculating for months: she and her boyfriend, actor Callum Turner, are engaged.

And she's given us all the details we've been dying to know.

At Christmas, the star shared a photo dump that had everything: a delicious-looking turkey, stacks of Tiffany boxes, and, oh, just a massive diamond ring sitting on her left hand.

Naturally, fans lost their minds, wondering if Turner decided to make the holiday season even more special by popping the question.

Now, the pop star has addressed it head on in a new interview with British Vogue.

"We're engaged," she confirmed. "It's very exciting."

And if that news isn't sweet enough, it turns out Callum got the ring custom-made for her after speaking with her best friends and her sister.

"I'm obsessed with it. It's so me. It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well."

The diamond ring is set on a wide cigar band that is estimated to cost between $65,000 and $125,000 USD, according to New York-based engagement ring designer Susie Saltzman, per BRIDES.

As for the wedding? It's not on the horizon just yet. The stars are soaking up their engagement.

"I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period," she told Vogue.

We also got a rare insight into the 'it' couple's relationship.

Dua said walking Turner's dog with him each morning is her "favourite thing in the world" and shared how the A-listers make their relationship work. They have a two-and-a-half-week rule, meaning they won't be apart for longer. It's how they navigate the chaos of touring and filming while keeping their connection as strong as ever.

"This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever — it's a really special feeling," she told Vogue.

The star admitted she'd love to have kids one day. But, of course, it's more complicated than that.

"It's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time — how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I'd have to take," she told Vogue.

With this exciting announcement, we took a deep dive into Dua and Turner's relationship history. Here's everything you should know about the adorable couple.

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's relationship.

Let's talk about Callum Turner.

He's British, he's an actor, and he's got that brooding leading-man energy. If you've seen Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore or Emma, you already know he's got the charm to back it up.

Dua and Turner have kept their romance mostly low-key, first sparking rumours in January 2024 when Dua attended the premiere of his Apple TV+ series Masters of the Air.

They later went public at Glastonbury Music Festival, posting adorable snaps from the event.

Turns out, they first met at The River Café in London, where she was having dinner with her dad while Turner was out with friends.

The restaurant's co-founder introduced the pair. A year later, Dua was having dinner with a friend in LA and "all of a sudden Callum shows up". She told Vogue he asked her what she was reading, and they happened to be reading the same book.

Asked if she believed that showed they were destined to be together, she said: "One thousand per cent."

And, well, the rest is history.

Dua Lipa's relationship history.

Dua's love life has been nearly as headline-worthy as her megastar career. She's been linked to musicians, actors, and even a certain Hadid brother, giving us plenty of memorable moments (and, admittedly, some cringe-worthy ones too).

Anwar Hadid.

When Dua and Anwar Hadid got together in 2019, it felt like the ultimate Gen Z power couple.

They bonded over music and quickly became inseparable, even adopting a puppy named Dexter during the pandemic. Their Instagram posts oozed cosy couple vibes, with matching outfits and loved-up captions galore.

But by late 2021, cracks began to show. With Dua's career skyrocketing and constant travel putting a strain on their relationship, they called it quits.

Still, the drama didn't stop there. When Dua stepped out with her next boyfriend, Anwar made his feelings loud and clear via some very pointed Instagram Stories, including the now-infamous "Trying not to find and kill him" post. Subtle.

Romain Gavras.

In 2023, Dua swapped quarantine vibes for French glamour, attending the Cannes Film Festival with filmmaker Romain Gavras.

The couple were chic, but their romance was short-lived. By the end of the year, it was all over, with insiders suggesting that Romain couldn't keep up with Dua's busy schedule.

Honestly, who could blame her? When you're busy headlining festivals and dominating charts, love sometimes takes a backseat.

Jack Harlow.

When rapper Jack Harlow name-dropped Dua in his track 'Dua Lipa', fans wondered if he was just shooting his shot. Turns out, he was, and apparently it worked.

The pair reportedly hit it off at an event in 2022, sparking dating rumours — though both downplayed talk of a budding romance — and several months after his song came out, they were a thing. While they didn't confirm their relationship, they certainly gave us some meme-worthy moments — and reminded us all that manifesting works.

Trevor Noah.

Dua and The Daily Show host Trevor Noah had fans talking in September 2022 when they were spotted out to dinner togther in New York.

Their chemistry was undeniable, but Dua later clarified that she was happily single at the time.

"For me, this is the first year I've not been in a relationship for a very long time," she said. Independent queen energy.

Isaac Carew.

Dua's relationship with celebrity chef Isaac Carew spanned several years, with breakups, reconciliations, and plenty of drama.

The pair first got together in 2013, and had an on-again-off-again relationship plagued by cheating rumours (which Isaac denied). They split for a short time in 2017, and reunited in 2018, only to have it end for the last time a year later.

In 2019, they parted ways for good, with sources citing their hectic schedules as the main culprit. Sometimes, timing just isn't on your side.

Paul Klein.

That brief split from Isaac in late 2017? That's when Dua had a whirlwind romance with LANY frontman Paul Klein.

They spent Christmas together and looked smitten, but their relationship fizzled out after just five months.

Klein later admitted that their breakup inspired some of his band's most heart-wrenching tracks, with the singer describing the feeling of the breakup as "having his heart ripped out of his chest".

Ouch. Breakups may hurt, but they make for great art (and bangers).
