March is shaping up to be the month of secret celebrity weddings.

In this era of self-promotion, of social media, of multi-million dollar magazine deals, there’s something refreshing about celebrities who chose to keep private moments… well, just that.

This month we’ve seen a bunch of famous faces shirking the spotlight (and no doubt a lucrative pay-day) on the biggest, most intimate day of their lives, their wedding.

Most recently…

Alison Brie and Dave Franco

Just today, gossip mags confirmed the two popular actors (you may know Brie from Community and Mad Men and Franco from 21 Jump Street) got hitched after a 19-month engagement.

There were no hints on their social pages in the lead-up, and no pics since. Simply a confirmation via their publicist.

Just like the good ol' days.

Illana Glazer and David Rooklin

The Broad City writer/actor is famous for her unbreakable bond with co-star/real life best friend/soul mate Abbi Jacobson, but overnight it was reported the 29-year-old had legally tied herself to her long-time boyfriend instead. Some bloke named Dave.

The ceremony actually happened last month - February 28, to be precise. But again, there's been no word from Glazer.

It seems that, like the rest of us, she just committed to the love of her life without feeling the need to tell millions of strangers.

Penn Badgely and Domino Kirke

This one came out of nowhere. They've been dating for three years, then... BOOM! A courthouse wedding in Brooklyn.

Gossip Girl star Badgley and singer Kirke — sister of Girls star Jemima Kirke — kept things super low-key/down-low in the lead up to their big day.
