One week ago, Cyrell Paule and on-again boyfriend Eden Dally welcomed a baby boy.

The former Married at First Sight 2019 and Love Island 2018 stars announced the birth via New Idea Magazine this morning, with neither of them posting the news to their social media accounts.

Cyrell told the publication she was rushed to hospital two weeks before her due date and took “probably every drug you could take during labour” before giving birth to a healthy 3kg baby boy.

“I ended up getting cut as well, and because I genuinely couldn’t push anymore, he also had to get suctioned out,” she said.

Labelling her four-hour labour and birth experience as “traumatic,” Cyrell, 30, says she and Eden are calling their son “bub” for the moment, until they decide on a name.

Cyrell, nicknamed ‘Cyclone Cyrell’ for her fiery personality on MAFS, hasn’t been media shy since leaving the show – posting regular pregnancy updates, relationship news and Instagram commentary about fellow contestants.

Since their relationship began, the pair have experienced trolling and shaming on social media – an unfortunately common occurrence for former reality stars.

“Since the start of our interracial relationship, to announcing having a baby together… we have received so much backlash,” Cyrell wrote on Instagram in October. “I have been bullied because my skin is a darker colour, my partner has been told to leave his black monkey, and we received messages praying for us to have a miscarriage with our unborn child. On the outside we look strong and we portray that it doesn’t affect us. But words do hurt.”

Not long afterwards, the couple announced they had ended their relationship after eight months. Cyrell wrote at the time, “Even if it’s just you and me. We’ll create our own happiness” next to a photo of her pregnant belly.

The couple reconciled in December with Cyrell posting regular snaps of the pair.

“You’re the reason why Panadol was invented, and the definition next to migraine. But I love you,” she wrote on New Year’s Eve.

In January, Cyrell admitted they were having trouble settling on a name for their son.

“I want a unique name, Eden wants a fighters name… all in all we’d be happy as long as it’s not a pets name,” she said.

But she’s been quiet on her Instagram page since her son’s February 9th birth, despite posting an ad for custom-made mugs on her Instagram in the meantime.

Instead, it appears the couple have an exclusive deal with New Idea, telling fans via the publication that they’re “already obsessed” with their boy, who they claim takes after his father because he “doesn’t have a loud mouth”.

Eden has been equally as private on his own channels, perhaps giving away a small clue about his son’s birth three days ago with a caption “I’ll take a short black thank you!!!” next to a coffee emoji.

Cyrell is already adamant she won’t be having another child, telling New Idea she will “definitely never be going through that again. It was so bad.”
