The cutest dogs of Melbourne have officially been discovered and the photos are absolutely incredible.

To celebrate the launch of Scratch Pet Food, thousands of dogs battled it out in a competition to pick Melbourne’s cutest boys and girls.

It might have been a tough decision, but in the end, the judges hand picked 30 adorable models including a Chihuahua named Taco (yes, really) and a Samoyed called Scallop.

Photographed by the team at Dog Photog Studios, the professional snaps taken in front of a millennial pink backdrop have since popped up on Instagram and posters all across Melbourne.

Prepare yourself for an overload of cuteness, because these photos are hands down the most adorable images we’ve ever laid our eyes on.
