Mum-of-four's heartbreaking last message before dying a day after giving birth to twins.

She was a mum of four. She’d just given birth to twins. And she had beaten cancer twice. But 30-year-old Jamie Snider from California in the US died from congenital heart failure on March 17, one day after giving birth to twins Camila and Nico.

Snider had been diagnosed with a rare form of cervical cancer prior to her first pregnancy and had an ovary removed during treatment. Her two older daughters are Aubrey and Maddie.

Upon falling pregnant with the twins, Snider learned the cancer had returned. She underwent intensive treatment throughout her pregnancy and reportedly beat the disease again.

On March 16, Snider was booked in for a caesarean as well as a hysterectomy. According to ABC 7, she posted the following message to Facebook the day before her surgery:

“Tomorrow will be a great day. God has been by my side the whole time. All your prayers and love have kept me going as well. Wish me luck,” the post read. “I’m having a C-section at 7 and then a radial hysterectomy right after. I’ll be fine. Thank you, God, for keeping me positive through all the hard times.”

Camila and Nico, born prematurely at 33 weeks, were her “little miracles”. But, the day after their birth, during her recovery, Snider suffered heart failure.

“The twins, Camila and Nico are tiny, healthy, vibrant and stable,” a friend of the family posted to a Go Fund Me page.

“With so much sadness in my heart, I regret to report that on Friday morning, March 17th 2017, Jamie’s health took a fatal turn and she passed away of congenital heart failure in an emergency surgery.”

According to the crowdfunding page, Snider’s husband and the father of the twins, Heath Coigny will move with the kids to New Hampshire to be closer to his sister and her family.

There have been three Go Fund Me pages set up to help the Coigny family: One for the twins’ expenses; One for Snider’s memorial service; and one for donations to the family for help in moving forward.
