It's the response my dad gives me when I ask him what he wants for Christmas. Every. Single. Year.
At first, I ignored his annual request and continued to buy him gifts. Then one year, I listened.
And let's just say the year I chose to honour his request to go giftless, it went down like a lead balloon. Because when Christmas Day rolled around and he realised there were no colourful little packages with his name on them under the tree, the look on his face was not mad… just disappointed.
