Forget marriage, Married At First Sight's Christie might have a bigger surprise.

Up the duff. Pillow smuggling. Knocked up. Preggers… Bun in the oven?

Christie from Married At First Sight has people speculating she’s pregnant after posting a cryptic photo on her Instagram account.

She’s made no secret of the fact she wants kids, but what we don’t know is if she and her ‘husband’ from the show, farmer Mark Hughes, are quite there yet — that’s assuming they’re still together of course.

We suspect they are given these paleo buns were baked for “someone special” in her life, according the caption on them, which also featured the hashtag #wifematerial.

The picture raised a number of questions, not lease of which, was what the heck is a ‘paleo bun’ (answer: something we can thank Pete Evans for).

“A bit of innuendo me thinks,” one commenter wrote, “is there something you’re not telling us?”;

“Is there a ‘bun in the oven’ Christie?”, another added.

The Sydney business woman, who is 39, said in the first episode of MAFS “wanting children has become more important” to her in recent years, given her age.

She also told TV Week in a recent interview she didn't want to "miss out" on kids.

"Unfortunately, we do have the clock," she said.

We guess only time will tell.
