Chrishell Stause has always wanted a family with G Flip. She just shared a raw update.

Chrishell Stause and G Flip are trying to grow their family. But it hasn't been an easy road.

The couple, who wed in 2023, have been attempting IVF for a while now, with no success.

In a candid update, the Selling Sunset star has told fans about the journey.

"Back on the IVF hell train. I think this may be my last attempt," the 43-year-old wrote on Instagram.

"There are other alternatives, but this route needed to be tried first bc of timing. So if it's meant to be it will be. If not, pivot."

This raw glimpse into Chrishell and G Flip's life comes a month after the Love Triangle host spoke to US Weekly about the difficulties of starting a family, telling the publication it had been "pretty sad at times".

"We're in a situation where it's not easy to have kids," she said.

"It's not like we can have one naturally. There are so many steps, there's so much planning, there are so many complications and things that can go wrong."

In a separate interview with the same publication, Chrishell said that she and G Flip, 31, had considered adoption.

But this avenue presented its own issues.

"I'll just say to anyone that understands this [adoption] process — there are just a lot of different roadblocks, and so we do feel like we're on the upswing."

Chrishell and G Flip first met at a Halloween party in 2021. Instantly, Chrishell knew they were meant to be together.

"It was probably the easiest thing that I've ever had to know," she previously told Mamamia.

"Dating always felt so hard… like I need to work harder, I need to make this work. And then I really feel like, once I found my person, it just kind of… it's not that hard; it was the easiest thing."

Chrishell first publicly confirmed she was dating G Flip, who is non-binary, during the season five reunion of Selling Sunset in 2022.

It came five months after she split from her boss, Jason Oppenheim, who couldn't decide if he wanted to have children, despite Chrishell expressing a strong desire to start a family.

"I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that's very important to me. Their name is G Flip," Chrishell said at the time.

She went on to explain she "was probably as surprised as anyone", but was enjoying life and "having a lot of fun".

"They are an extremely talented musician. It started because I was just going to be in their (music) video."

The couple eventually tied the knot in May 2023.

Chrishell shared the news by posting a beautiful Instagram reel to celebrate the release of G Flip's song, I'll Be Your Man, before the video ended with an image of the pair standing at the altar.

"Love doesn't always go as planned… sometimes it's immeasurably better," Chrishell wrote.

Friends of the pair, including Chrishell's Selling Sunset co-star Emma Hernan, left messages of congratulations on the Instagram post.

"I'm dying! I've been waiting for this post all day! Covered in goosebumps since the moment I watched! Watching your love is like watching the best love story in the world. I love you to the moon and back," Hernan wrote.

Meanwhile, G Flip replied: "My darling, I adore and love you with all my heart. These are the sweetest words… you make me so happy. Thank you."

Despite clearly being madly in love, the pair admit they’ve faced hurtful trolling about their relationship.

"Of course, we had supportive messages, but it was an unbelievable flood of trolling," Chrishell told Vogue Australia in 2023.

"Every day I'm seeing, like, three positive comments and then hundreds of puke emojis and midlife crisis comments. At first, it felt so heavy, like, 'What have you done?' because it brought all this negativity to G's life."

The couple even considered keeping their relationship under wraps indefinitely.

"When you care about someone so much and your relationship is so important to you, you wanna protect it," explained Chrishell.

"We could have kept everything quiet," G Flip added. "But then …" Chrishell finished their thought. "Then they win. They quiet you and take your voice."
