
Tributes are flowing for ABC publicist Chris Chamberlin, who has died suddenly while on holiday in India.
Chris joined the ABC as a publicist working on the network’s flaghsip shows Four Corners, 7.30 Report and Foreign Correspondent after stints at Gredater Union and Dendy Films, before establishing his own publicity company, Pop Culture.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the 39-year-old’s death are not yet known. Chris last tweeted a travel update on the 23rd of June.
In a tribute from 7.30 Report colleague, Leigh Sales tweeted her “condolences to his nearest”.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the ABC’s director of audiences, Leisa Bacon, described Chris as a “star” employee in an email to staff.
