Chris Brown surrenders after 11-hour standoff with police at his LA home.

Chris Brown has posted a heated rant on Instagram during a standoff with police in his Los Angeles home.

The 27-year-old barricaded himself inside his LA mansion and away from police for over 11 hours after claims he threatened a woman with a gun.

It is believed the woman involved is a “beauty pageant queen” named Baylee Curran.

TMZ reported that a woman called 911 early Tuesday morning in Los Angeles, claiming Brown had threatened her with a gun following an argument.

Police sought a search warrant for the 27-year-old’s home to find the weapon he allegedly used to threaten the woman.  The LA Times reports that Brown, who has had several previous run-ins with the law, pointed the gun at the woman during a “violent rage”.

Meanwhile, Brown took to his Instagram account sharing videos in which he railed against police and media and said he was being unfairly portrayed as a villain.

Brown said he woke up to helicopters overhead and officers at his gate and said that he was innocent.

“Good luck. When you get the warrant or whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots,” he said in one video. “I’m tired of … dealing with y’all.”

TMZ reports that police have retrieved at least one gun, other weapons and drugs from his home, after he threw a duffel bag out the window.

A seemingly calm Brown exited the house alongside his lawyer after police obtained a warrant to search his property. 

Donned in a white t-shirt and baseball cap, the singer sat outside by his front door while officers entered his house.

According to an LAPD press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Brown is cooperating with officers while they interview his entourage and other people inside his home.

‘We’re getting the cooperation of everyone that came out,’ Lt. Chris Ramirez said. 

No arrests have been made in the matter.

Brown, a father of one, spent six years on probation after pleading guilty to attacking his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
