"I have lots of dreams I want to achieve": Child's burnt note found in London fire debris.

In the debris of the devastating fire at London’s Grenfell Tower which has so far claimed at least 12 lives, a child’s burnt note was found.

“I can not describe my feeling,” the note reads. “I am very, very happy.”

“I have a lot of ideas and plans. I have lots of dreams I want to achieve.”

It provides a snapshot of the lives of the hundreds of people – parents, families and children – who called the high-rise apartment building home.

Also found on the ground was a child's piece of homework, charred around the edges.

Currently 75 people, including dozens who remain in critical care, are being treated in hospital after the inferno took hold of the 24-storey building in the early hours of Wednesday morning London time.

The tragedy saw parents throwing their toddlers and babies out of windows in desperation.

Offers of support are pouring in from the local community, as well as Jamie Oliver who has offered to feed and shelter victims in his London restaurant.
