Minutes before Chiara Ferragni's $2 million wedding, her husband-to-be made a phone call.

It was a wedding for the ages.

Chiara Ferragni, Italian fashion queen and influencer behind The Blonde Salad, married rapper Federico Leonardo Lucia — better known as Fedez — in a grand declaration of love.

We're talking three custom Dior dresses, a lavish castle setting, and a private plane with their own wedding hashtag.

Under a canopy of tiny, twinkling lights Chiara married the man of her dreams with their then-seven-month-old son, Leone, by their side.

In 2021, they welcomed their second child, Vittoria. On Instagram, they were a glamorous couple with two perfect children. But behind the picture-perfect posts, a different reality was playing out.

Then, Chiara has dropped a bombshell: their idyllic relationship was a sham. Fedez had been cheating on her for years — even before the 2018 wedding.

It all came out after notorious Italian paparazzo Fabrizio Corona named a woman, Angelica Montini, as the rapper's long-term mistress.

And once the story was out? Fedez had no choice but to come clean. According to Chiara, he admitted to the affair in December 2024, revealing he'd even thought about calling off their wedding at the last minute.

To make matters worse, Fedez allegedly confessed on Christmas Eve. Because nothing says festive spirit like admitting to years of infidelity.

Chiara took to Instagram to address the rumours head-on, sharing that Fedez had been unfaithful since 2017 — the same year they got engaged.

"He also told me: 'I thought about not getting married a few days before the wedding, but then I didn't know how to back out publicly'," she said.

But the revelations didn't stop there. Chiara was devastated to learn that while she was by Fedez's side during his surgery for a rare pancreatic tumour in March 2022 — looking after their two children and supporting him — he was texting his lover the whole time.

Chiara said that finding out these heart-breaking details were "released publicly" has been "truly low".

"Details such as his call to his lover before going up to the altar telling her that a confirmation from her would be enough to leave everything. Or finding out about his messages to her before being operated on while he was in bed, holding my hand."

Chiara said she had kept quiet as rumours swirled, but enough was enough.

"I understood that what I had experienced was a total joke, but I suffered in silence, surrounded only by the closeness of those who truly love me.

"I remained silent because I wanted to move on without thinking about the pain I had suffered and because I have two children who will listen to everything their parents say about each other and will suffer from certain statements," she said.

"My relationship with Federico was real for me, I have never been in an open relationship (obviously it was only open to the other party). Despite everything, I am proud to have loved unconditionally."

As for Fedez? He has yet to comment on the allegations. Meanwhile, Chiara is thriving, making bold public appearances, including at Paris Fashion Week where she stunned in a uber-short white mini dress.

Her revenge era is in full force. And we love to see it.

After her split from Fedez, Ferragni began dating Giovanni Tronchetti Provera, a 41-year-old entrepreneur and heir to the Pirelli fortune.

He also has children of his own, who all attend the same school in Milan.

The couple enjoyed vacations in Ibiza, Saint Moritz, and Rome, although there are rumours that they also spent time apart. In August 2025, she posted a sunset boat ride with Provera, ending speculation of a break up.
