Three weeks after going missing from his Sydney home, it has been confirmed that NRL star Chad Robinson has died.
The 36-year-old’s body was discovered inside the wreckage of his silver Suburu Outback at the bottom of a gorge in Kenthurst on Thursday by electricity workers operating within the area.
The father-of-tw0, who previously played for the Parramatta Eels and Sydney Roosters, was first announced missing on November 26 after he left his Kellyville house without his wallet or phone, wearing only shorts and a t-shirt.
Now, weeks of extensive searching have come to an end.
While the body is yet to be formally identified, Robinson's family confirmed the discovery on Thursday evening via a statement on the 'Let's Find Chad' Facebook page that read, "It's with a heavy heavy heart that we can confirm that Chad's body has been found this afternoon. There are no words for our whole families loss and especially his two beautiful kids. Thank you everyone one of you for your support the last few week [sic]. Brother you were the world to all of us, I can't imagine life without you, but you are free, fly high my beautiful brother."
