How your favourite celebs spent NYE.

While some of us were battling the inevitable invasion of personal space in over-crowded bars, dealing with drunk relations on the family holiday, or trying our very best to keep our eyes open past midnight at the party we were assured would be ‘THE BEST EVER!’ there was apparently a whole other world of NYE fun going on.

From Bachelorettes to comedians, our home-grown celebrities were ringing in the New Year in style.

Except poor Em Rusciano, who after a nasty falling-out with her appendix, spent the evening in Melbourne’s Austin hospital.

Well… I’ve had an eventful 24 hours! My appendix totally broke up with me. Just wanted to thank the rad legend nurses and doctors at the Austin hospital, they looked after me like champions. Scotty and I are spending NYE here, I’m on the good pain meds don’t even worry about that.

Later in the evening, Zoe Foster Blake did what most of us wish we had done last night, and pretended the 9pm fireworks were the midnight fireworks.
