The internet’s obsession with cats has just reached its summit.
Evidently the glut of cat memes, blogs and gifs wasn’t quite enough to tide us over – we now have cats posing like pin-up girls to keep us entertained.
It’s all thanks to an Aussie tumblr called Cats That Look Like Pin Up Girls, which posts images of cats in bizarrely coquettish poses that mimic those of the women featured in retro pin up images. It sounds weird – and it is – but it’s mesmerising. A Perth clothing store called Hurly-Burly clothing is responsible for the hilarity.
The only thing missing is some appropriately pin up-esque names for these sultry kitties. How about Purr-onica Lake? Or Betty Grrrrr-able?
