Less than a week after their deaths, HBO has released a trailer of its documentary about Carrie Fisher, her mother Debbie Reynolds, and the intensity of mother-daughter relationship.
Bright Lights: Starring Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher will premiere on January 8, after being brought forward by the network, and follows the bond shared between the two actresses in the years before they passed away one day apart.
Filmed over the course of 2014 and 2015, the documentary bills itself as a “story of the family’s complicated love,” and promises “an intimate portrait of Hollywood royalty in all its eccentricity,” according to PEOPLE.
